Glycerin, 09 Mar 2022These phones are meant to be used as PHONES not as toys or ... moreWhen you're too desperate to stand up for your favorite brand, you'll make excuses that don't make sense like what you've said.

If smart phones are only used for communication like in the early days of mobile phones then feature phones or Nokia entry level smart phones are perfectly adequate there is no need to waste money by buying overpriced Nokia phones.

There's nothing wrong if you are one of those people who are still loyal to Nokia but don't say something that will make you sound s+up!d just to defend your favorite brand.

Like it or not, Nokia smartphones are no longer comparable to smart phones from Asian brands especially nowadays some brands like Samsung and even Xiaomi have started to provide security update for at least 2/3 years.

That's why Nokia is not even able to dominate the market share of Finland, which is Nokia's home country.

Meanwhile, Motorola offers their E40 for 126 euros on Amazon DE. Punch hole design, better main camera, and I think it looks better.
Unfortunately, Motorola has a terrible update policy for their E series (only security updates for two years.

Poco M3 will beat it in every aspect and it was released 2 years ago, so you can get it even cheaper. Some software updates are not worth an overall worse experience.

Please please go away hmd. No one likes you

Tbf this phone might be quite useful... For when the next pandemic is released and people buy all the toilet paper you could wipe your bottom with this phone instead since that's all it's good for

Has current phone hysteria gotten you so backwards that you have forgotten that's how phone charging used to work?

It's a budget phone made for people who really only want a cellphone but need to jump to a smartphone for one reason or another. It's not built for gaming(gaming on a phone is silly in itself), it's not built to be used constantly, this is why it's far superior to all the Chinese phones out there plaguing the market. To talk trash about it or HMD is to completely ignore it's entire point for being made to begin with. You might as well be yelling at trackphone for not having Google maps on their flip phones.

Nothing stands out for this phone, in this price range. Except off software updates, competition wins in all other parameters.

"Relatively slow charging" is what you call charging a phone in 3hours? and 2h10min with 65w, while if a phone from most companies surpasses an hour long to charge you'd be very critical about how slow the charging speed (not talking about flagship phones that only handle 20-30w, but cheap phones that come with a 30w charger in the box).

It's almost like Nokia is trying to fail. Otherwise, such incompetence is hard to imagine.

A horrible display, speaker and camera, and a massive chin. Not to mention the chipset, which is horrible even for a budget phone. Aside from the battery, this phone fails in every category.
