I hate the useless unnecessary "gesture guide bar" at the bottom of the screen. Instead of an option to hide it, the bar shouldn't be there in the first place. Once you use a gesture for the first time, you would know how and where the gesture works, and the bottom isn't the only area used for gesture navigation. There is no reason for its existence and it's only a waste of screen space and visual distraction.

- Because of the software multitasking features, optimizations and support from eg Google, microsoft, spotify etc
-more updates and support
-IP rated
-stylus support makes it more powerful for some people
-has a bigger foldable screen even though the outer screen has too narrow aspect ratio
-available globally
I really think all foldables should start having stylus support(i mean they are mini tablets after all)

Great device from Oppo and one that works well with no bugs like in OnePlus devicrs or ads like in Xiaomi devices. Or the redandert app replication in Samsung devices.

As for the Telephoto bug, perhaps there is a hardware 'fault' in your device, if the bug wasn't more reported and to Oppo ? Perhaps now they'll know :)

I can rant just as miuch at BBK / Oppo but right here, they offer a very nice product and more appealing compared to what Samsung offer :)
It's refreshing and I'm eager to see it more widely available, but not so much fascinated by it (I don't think it's for me; at least in the current form)

I remember when Eazy-E said "Dre Day Only Makes Eazy's Payday".
Samsung provides Oppo's folding screen so Sammie is just as happy about Oppo's success as anyone. Until the remaining Foldables go global, the best Foldable will be the Foldable that is available.

It's a shame they're not globally available.
I bought a Z Fold 3 about 3 months ago and had a serious look to if I could get one of these.
As much as I like them it was easier to just go with the Fold 3

This is how you build your first product in any category. Kudos to Oppo and more importantly to their engineers.
It seems this is built for "testing waters" in their own market first. After good reception the 2nd gen is what should make to the global markets. I hope!
Thanks GSMA for taking time to test this beauty ;)

i don't believe that foldable phones are going to dominate at all, but oppo beat the shit outta scammy in their "own game".
