Second thing is, there's no guarantee that S22 Ultra is more superior than this phone - maybe on paper but since GSMArena gave both phone a 4.5 star review, that's basically saying that both phone are on par overall.
And lastly, who are you to say what people buying preference is? If they want this, they'll buy it anyway. It's not like the only option to buy is to fork out the full amount, right? There are other buying options - for example, 12-month installment with 0% interest; either using credit card or the recently popular "pay later" option.
If it were me, I will never buy a flagship Samsung nor Apple.

Sawsan, 23 May 2022Who would buy this thing when the Samsung S22 Ultra, which ... moreThis is basically a Huawei replacement for those who wanted a Huawei software but come with GMS, the only downside of it is that after separating from Huawei, most of the Huawei propriety software including theming capabilities is largely cut off and not available. Still for those who like Huawei software design with GMS officially supported, this are a device for them. It’s may not for you or me, but there’s definitely market for it.

I'm always surprised gsmarena talks about phones having just enough bass when nothing is even close to the Zenfone 8. That thing has bass. These? Not really.

Who would buy this thing when the Samsung S22 Ultra, which is a superior phone in almost all aspects, is offered at the same price? The Honor would may be a good purchase if the price goes down significantly in a few months, but its introductory price is way too high for it to be considered by anyone who's not a die hard fan. And that's not even talking about the lack of Google support for Huawei/Honor.
