    I hope that Xiaomi will use Android UI instead of MiUI because MiUI has so many lags and bugs that is enough reason to ignore the brand's flagship phones.

      Not impressed with the camera performance.

        All great, all powerful, but the OS is awful. Maybe stick to Stockish Android. Xiaomi can actually design MIUI without altering Android's true design beyond recognition.

                            thanks for the studio pics, it appears to be sharp at the center but rapidly loses it at the sides, where an iPhone matches or beats it. i wish you could shoot again and write an article about the sharpness testing of the lens.

I don't see any improvements with the camera when compared with my friends 11 Ultra. In fact my P30 Pro from 3.5 years ago still takes better pics than the 12S Ultra. I think Xiaomi's software needs some serious optimization. I'm warning folks here in the US who wants to import the 12S Ultra, it cost $1,400 and only slightly better than the Iphone 13 Pro Max I compared with side by side, which you can buy locally for much cheaper. In fact the 13 Pro Max's camera is a big upgrade over the Iphone 12 so its a really nice overall camera phone for those wondering.

Coming from a Samsung fanboy who never even used a Xiaomi 12S Ultra or Google or Apple. Lol hahahahahhaha Samsung Nationalism really can't be beat.

                                Eventhough I'm disappointed in my Xiaomi 12S Ultra's camera, which is no where near as good as all the professional online reviews say, comparing it with the S22 Ultra in the store, I can easily see the 12S ultra is the CLEAR winner.

                                        So much has been written about this new camera system and in the end it does not surpass the Mi 11 ultra, selfie camera equivalent to a low mid-range, rear camera with a ridiculously excessive colour saturation, where you often lose the definition, an HDR far below the competitors, in short do not be sorry if it only comes out in China.
