I even invested in Nothing, but did not expect it will go in this direction.

870(+) would be ideal processor for Nothing(1) at this pricerange. Also 45w charging woukd not be bad...

Closest comparison of 778 and 870 I could find was this:

    which shows that 870 is just about as battery efficient as 778 while being much more capable. Perhaps they were dead set on a certain profit margin which prevented them from spending more on SD 870 while maintaining the price of this product.

          I get that it may not be deal breaker for you personally. But from a more objective standpoint, it should be mentioned as a con (along with lower GPU and limited storage among others) because other competing midrangers have them (while also lacking some features that this phone has, to be fair).

          If you really stand by your claim that this review is not biased at all, not in any way, not even a little bit, even after being presented arguments as to how it appears otherwise in some parts, then I guess that's it.

              Seems good , but SD 870 version would have been better, so far its best SD ever in terms of perf and efficiency.

Just to summarize this discourse before it strays further, you said that "this particular review on GSMA was not biased at all." But my point is this: Aside from them presenting the advantages of this phone over others in the similar price bracket on the pro's list, wouldn't it be only fair/unbiased if they also presented, at least on the con's list, all that it lacks compared to those same phones in the same price bracket (instead of glossing over these compromise or not mention them at all)?

                  Also to clarify, I'm not at all claiming that this phone is bad. Although I personally think the new feature it introduced was more of a novelty than an innovation, I can see that it has a particular combination of features and the people who prioritize those features over the tradeoffs wouldn't find any alternative.

                  Neither do I mind about the rating the reviewers gave it. Afterall, it's their review and they've never really clarified how they compute the final rating so we can't verify the score on our end. It's just that omitting some of the cons steers readers on the phone's favor, which not only makes this review come across as a little partial but makes it basically a subtle advertisement imho.

The realme Q3 pro carnival actually has 768 not 778, so it really is 4k@60fps capable. There are a couple of Vivo phones on the list with 778 but neither was reviewed to support that the 778 is capable of 4k@60fps

It's like defending the phone instead of being impartial with the review.

                          Yeah, I don't think SD 778/+ is capable of 4k@60fps at all.

                                Not getting mentioned as a con (compared to other phones in the same price bracket having it) matters because that's another thing that made this review not as unbiased as it should've been (again in response to your claim that it's not biased at all).

                                Also, they listed weak ingress protection as a con but still listed IP 53 as a Pro.

                                In my country where the price of phones are usually lower compared to Europe, this phone in 8/256 is going to sell for about €520 converted, as opposed to European pricing of "€499 for the 8/256 version". So that makes it even further from having a great value. But at least it's better than iPhone SE (2022) 4/64 that costs the same here.

                                      Well it is capable of that, after all. Just not the highest quality graphics. And for casual gamers, that won't be any problem at all. PUBG will most likely run at HDR setting with Ultra (45 fps) frame rate, which is good enough for most people, anything more is simply not possible for a sd778

                                      Maybe the reason they didn't put 4k60 was to avoid heating problems found in most phones today
