Got the 6a a few weeks ago and the end of return periods is drawing near. I love the smart features every Google Pixel brings in and am generally satisfied with the cameras, but all too often led lights are rendered with q lot of flickering and banding. I know this is true for most phones but this seems to be particularly bad on the 6A, there is a whole support thread for it.

On the other hand I was afraid of the OLED lotto and have to say ai was relieved to find I got a decent one in terms of yellow tint on greys. The surprise was rainbow effect is so severe I notice warmer whites just around the bottom of the screen. I don't know whether this is due to the off axis viewing (is it so bad that the natural inclination of holding the phone will trigger it?) or an actual defect. I am admittedly nitpicky for the price but am wondering whether I should get a refund.

I got the iPhone 13 back in August and loved it but for the price I was disappointed with the camera zoom. Can anyone enlighten me over which camera is best? I assume the Pixel is unbeatable in low light, ultra wide and zoom? Those and the lack of Pixel recorder are the things keeping me from swtiching again.

I find it annoying that reviews constantly flag lack of included charger as a negative 😒 It is wasteful economically and environmentally damaging to include accessories which may not be needed. How many people buying this phone don't have either a dedicated or stock multi socket charger? If a customer really doesn't, they are bound to know someone with a drawer full of the things. Secondly, fast charging shortens the battery life, another environmental concern. I always charge at normal rate and try to keep devices at between 25 and 80% charge for optimal results, both in terms of health of battery and its longevity.
Please include more about these aspects in your reviews.

94 hours of battery endurance rating despite having the smallest battery in the whole Pixel 6 lineup? If there's one thing it proves, it proves that 60Hz is still the best and most relevant option for battery life.

Hello, below is my review of Google Pixel 6a on Flipkart

Product was delivered well with good packaging from Flipkart. The box contained USB C converter, cable and the sim ejector tool. There's so much to like about this phone. Starting with the design, although it resembles its older siblings Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro, it still feels very much refreshing to see this unique design of the phone. The camera panel at the back especially with such a contour, feels fabulous to say the least. The front of the phone is very good as well a bezeless design, with a punch hole selfie camera located at the centre of the panel. The performance of its camera needs no introduction at all, simply fabulous images that it captures through its 12 MP shooter. Low light photos come out well too and for people who are photo enthusiasts, there should be no second thoughts on going for this device.

Battery performance is good too considering that this phone handles the tasks well through its 4410 mAH battery capacity and the battery easily last for over a day. There's a whole lot of new features like Magic Eraser, Live Transcribing, Live translation etc.

The size of the phone is perfect, neither too small nor too big and fits in the hand really well, the one-handed usage is very comfortable as well. The fingerprint reader is fairly quick too. Since the back of the phone is made of a high grade plastic that makes it feel like glass, it is bound to be a magnet for fingerprints, for which i would recommend the usage of a good back cover.

For all those who are doubting this phone over the heating issues and also the lack of a 90Hz or greater screen refresh rate, this phone is buttery smooth at 60Hz with its stock Android which is a pure joy and one will never notice the lack of a higher screen refresh rate at all whatsoever. I have not noticed any heating issues nor any issues with the refresh rate impacting the usage of the phone.

Lastly, coming to the price of the phone, I purchased it during the Big Billion Days sale and got it for 29.7k, which is a steal. Perhaps the only downside if I'm critical would be the price at which it was or could be purchased and that goes either way.

Overall, this is a beautiful phone which i can highly recommend without any second thoughts.

I disagree with the review saying that it has a "great all-around camera."

The photos are decent at best.

              Daylight photos are too grainy:

Take a look at Pixel 5's photo: foliage are rendered clearly.
The 6a has grainy and noisy photos even in daylight.

The 5a has a slightly better image than 6a but still grainy.
Planning to try this since it's only a few bucks more expensive than the 5a, but the 5a has better battery life and still includes a headphone jack.

OMG. These photos are absolutely terrible. Just take a look at pixel 1 and two's photos. They were better 10 times at least. The foliage now is complete mess. Ugh

P4R4D1SE, 11 Aug 2022As a Pixel 5A owner, I can say that charging a 4680 mAh bat... moreThe Pixel 6A has a Maximum charge of18.5watts so anything more than that does not matter because it will only allow 18.5 watts no matter how powerful of a charger it is but it's okay it still charges in about 2 hours from completely dead all in all I love love love this phone.

I have never in my life has a worse experience than I did with the pixel 6a . My number one complaint is the level of volume you get using earbuds , I can have the volume up at max and still carry on a conversation with someone next to me and we don't need to yell. I purchased a headphone amplifier hoping it would do the trick, it wasn't very expensive only $24 on Amazon and it brought the volume up a bit.. I would say just under the max volume of an iphone 8 with apple wired earbuds. This is bullshit I can't even enjoy my music

for starters I only used pin on my pixel 6, then decided to use fingerprint....either way it's fine

Can the 6a be used without the fingerprint activated?

Just a password, like on my Moto 7 play?

Received the android 13 update yesterday. Fingerprint is not recognising my fingers anymore (1 success / 20 attempts ) it doesn't matter how I put my fingers on screen.
                                        Bad. Otherwise good battery life.
