Do you really think 13 Pro has higher quality lenses instead of just different sizes compared to 13? Neither of them have good lenses anyway, but whatever.
Look at cameras. Sony has E-mount that can be used on both APSC and FF.
Even if they come with newer sensor + newer software, the APSC will still lose to FF , simply because sensor is smaller.
Look at huawei. Partnership with Leica goes back to P8.
Still Mate 10 Pro was crap.
P20 Pro had advantage over other phones because of sensor size. Something like 50% larger than phones of same year. Advantage P20 did not have.
Sensor made in 2022, will not be more than 2-3% better than sensor made in 2017 with same specs.
This is why google never bothered to replace 363 for another 12.2MP 1/2.55" dual pixel (there are tons of them) like samsung did for years. Zero benefit.

S21FE has(that pixel doesnt)
+120hz display
+ip68
+wireless charging
+snap888(better overall than tensor)
+better OS support. 4 major updates compared to pixels 3(the irony)
+telephoto camera and better overall camera experience.
+faster charging
+Samsung ecosystem
+available in all countries and not on select markets like pixel
+samsung Dex
Pixel 6a is nice especially for those that want stock android and a great out of the box camera(even better in US market where they dont have many options),but in most markets outside US, its a tough buy.

Tensor chip is really great for a mid ranger like pixel 6a but no so much for the last years flagships.
Also i am kind of disappointed with the battery results. Its not that its bad or something, but i kind of expected way more from a 4500mah battery powering a 1080p 60hz only screen.
Xperia 5 III with 4500mah battery, 120hz screen and the power hungry snap888 posted better overall results in comparison.

Even if 6 Pro had bayer with 50MP with same 1.4 micron of imx363, then 6 Pro would still beat 6a.

Old batteries get hotter easier.
Change battery of your LG you'll see it charges cooler.

But….. just like with browsing on my PC at 144hz, aside from being smooth there is little true benefit, in gaming I feel high refreshrate has much more benefit in my opinion.
But I can already see a ton of keyboard knights going against this without even understanding what I mean, welcome to the internet.
