If you have points to counter my argument that a tablet can be just as useful and more cost efficient than a folding phone that cost twice as much, I am ready to hear them.

HM2 is crap as well. Way inferior to GN5/GN3 of same size.
Now there is HM6, with 1/1.76" like those 64MP.

Who the hell would do on tiny phone screen?
Best part is samsung users here criticize ppl that watch movies on phones, but label Note/S Ultra as productive tool. Watch any kind of videocis much easier tocdo on phone screen.
Even on much larger tablet , split screen is not good experience.

travstr, 25 Aug 2022you say that and yet every single phone coming out, iPhone ... moreI used the Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 for a bit and it was cute...but definitely didn't persuade me due to that abysmal cover display. Tho at first, I thought I was overreacting and played with it for a little while and see how I would use it and yeah, it's definitely niche for a reason. The cover display maybe great for one handed use, but if you got big hands, imo, it's a no go. I would like to try the Vivo X Fold, Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 to see if the regular sized cover screen can make a difference.
Also, Samsung is getting too Apple for my taste, and if I want Apple, I'll go for the real thing

Anonymous, 26 Aug 2022GN3 is smaller than HM3, but more advanced. Z Flip 3 with the same sensor as S21 also seems to have a better main camera than S22 Ultra, so it's more to do with software processing.

Samsung is not stupid, lack of competition means they don't need to spend that much money on innovations. Its good business practice.

All current foldables use 1/1.56" 50MP.
Chinese phones use smaller sensor for super wide compared to samsung.
Almost all of them have thir camera in the range 44-54mm.
