Xiaomi just destroyed this phone out of nowhere... Like a boxer slipping a punch and knocking their opponent out cold.
But the Z Fold 4 is nevertheless a great phone.
So many great choices on Android!!!

i don't know but this still looks too cheap for me. the screen has such a fat crease in the middle, that is something you expect to see on a crappy entry-level phone. and that under-display selfie camera is a joke, you can clearly see the pattern on the screen, it always attracts my attention when i use the device. a normal selfie camera would look better than that under-display bullshit. samsung wants 1900€ for this? hahahahahahaha, i will stay with my mate x2, almost no crease and superior camera.

Biggest disappointment is the camera. No improvement from fold 3. This is supposed to be premium phone, the most expensive Samsung phone, least expected was having the best camera... at least samsung S22 ultra quad cam... if not better ones. So... No go

I don't like reading on my phone, and for general viewing, I find a laptop the smallest I enjoy, with a 27" or a 32" screen best for reading and stuff. For movies and Youtube, I like my 75" TV. So foldables don't really tempt me yet.

Anonymous, 27 Aug 2022After failing to see the viability of a folding phone, I gu... moreOh, nobody is blaming you for not being able to find the form factor of a foldable useful in its current state. I also feel like they are compromising way too much just to make the folding mechanism work.
With that said, one day, if a company could come up with a way to achieve a creaseless screen just as durable as a regular smartphone glass surface, I might consider buying one. After all, it would be really nice to have a tablet that I can just put back into my pocket and forget about when I don't need it.

Anonymous, 27 Aug 2022Only saying folding phone 'very very very useful'... moreThe entire point of having a foldable (tablet) like Z Fold 4 is that you can put it in a pocket and use it like a regular smartphone, but when you want a larger canvas (like when reading an e-book, for instance) you can also have it on the go. If you personally can't find value in it, then it's probably not for you.
