    iPhone 11 : We don't talk about NOTCH
    iPhone 12 : We DO NOT talk about NOTCH
    iPhone 13 : Let's make the notch smaller.
    iPhone 14 : Let's rename the notch to island.

    Also, for everyone wondering, Apple stuborness and "dynamic" "island" means notch is not going anywhere for few generations, not until iPhone 16 pro / iPhone 17.

      One question though, why not find phones that are half the price of even the 6a or A53, and get four of them 🤷

        Would be interesting to see Quad/Nona/Quad²/2x2 OCL high resolution mode comparisons. Especially with the 108 megapixel mode of the S22 Ultra or with the 201 and 50 megapixel modes of the Lenovo Motorola Edge 30 Ultra. The high resolution mode of the Asus ZenFone 9 doesn't seem to be so bad either, even though it doesn't have a Quad Bayer, but a Quad Pixel autofocus (2x2 OCL) sensor.

            How can you say camera is superb when it's quite clear it's dismissal if you compare last's gen photos. Maybe they will improve it via software update but even mid range phones cameras have more details in the day time.

              I'd rather buy two Pixel 6As or two Galaxy A53s for the price of one of these.

                Anonymous, 23 Sep 2022The performance is in the review now it seems. Seems th... moreI saw in Golden reviewer video youtube, Apple now allow over 4W of in sustained perfomance. So phones will have better perfomance and less throttle in return battery life wont be as good as 13 series.

                  This is my final opinion:

                  1) The cutout looks way better than 13's notch, it just looks more minimal to my eyes.
                  2) Speakers are unfortunately worse than 13 Pro's which is disappointing. Since i know, iPhones were also known for amazing speaker quality.
                  3) Cameras are awesome but i don't really care about them. From what i saw, they have great photos quality and videos.
                  4) Display is amazing as always, being able to have such brightness is a relief when you have to use your phone on sunlight.
                  5) Dynamic Island, the functionality is amazing and animations too. It's useful and it somehow doesn't feel like it's separated from devices display. It feels more alive.
                  6) Battery life is okay, i guess.
                  7) Charging speed is terrible, i understand that it's saving battery but i used to charge my phone for about 35 minutes so if i decide to move to iPhone one day, it'll be hard to get used to almost 2 hours charging. Especially in emergencies.
                  8) Satellite connection and car crash detection are useless in my country, i hardly believe they will be available here anytime so i don't count them as a new feature (in my country.)
                  9) Build quality is always the best, but it's too heavy lol.
                  10) Always On Display is very nice and cool but i'm kinda afraid of burn in issues. If someone knows more, please reply.
                  11) iOS 16 is very beautiful and so much customizable, androids are customizable too but i just prefer iOS 16 over all android customizations out there. It's simple, beautiful and has very nice animations.

                  Overall, new 14 Pro series are great but in my opinion 13 Pro series are better in some parts.

                    Seems the sustained performance is solid now compared to 13 Pro, but the chip is a minor upgrade.

                      As i see in Photo Compare Tool low light scene, iPhone 14Pro/Max shots look much worse even than Xiaomi 12Pro

                        Am I blind or is the performance test not in the review?

                        Anyhow the battery life is solid, the standby is not and that is reason for the low score just like last year, however it does win from the 13 Pro.

                        Speaker while great is worse than on 13 Pro, I thought it is just me but when I heard it on the 14 Pro my co-worker got, you could immediately hear the difference between that and a 13 Pro.

                        AOD is a battery hog from what I read here, but considering the implementation I expected worse actually.
