It's about time Apple replaced the stainless steel frame with titanium to reduce the weight. Strong and premium.

      Iphone 13 pro superwide = equivalent to FF + f 15.6
      Iphone 14 pro superwide = equivalent to FF + f 13,64

        Hi. In the page on display, it mentions 2556x1779px.. Isn't it 2556x1179px?

          Since before the event there were from China reports of the camera not being better than 13 pro and huge amount of sharpening.
          It was not lie.

          But Gsmarena loves.

          For those that like to lie on comment session, watch the video from pro photographer Tony Northrup on iphone. He mentions that he has tested many phones with QB tech but none of them add quality at full resolution , not even from DNG files.

          I know "the someone " that is gonna reply this, but will be wasting time. These are words from photographer. Feel free to keep believing tech tubers.

          By the way, I love how the part of media that used to love shadow brightening has suddenly changed their minds in the last couple weeks , since new iphones do not do as previous generations. 🤣

            By the way, it seems that the larger sensor apparently can't capture more light than the smaller sensor of the 13 Pro in perfect light conditions.
            In low-light conditions it won't really capture more light due to the worse f-number, but one would have expected more light in perfect light conditions.
            The reason is that the iPhone chooses about the same exposure time despite the worse f-number. That's why the lowest Iso of the new sensor seems to be 80 instead of 50. The base Iso of 80 completely removes the advantage of the larger sensor in perfect light conditions.

              Dynamic Island is very stupid, I prefer the Vanilla iPhone 14.

                The display's brightness is impressive, I just hope people who are addicted to dark mode and use it even under direct sunlight won't get burn ins.
                It's better to use both light mode and dark mode depending on time and your environment, it should counter potential burn ins and save battery at night and low light environment.

                  It makes it more intrusive because of it, and yes I will get used to it to some degree but there is no reason to claim otherwise.

                    Really nice phone but I think the Dynamic Island is a bit of a gimmick in a phone this small. No mention on the obsolette Lightning port?

                      What surprised me the most was actually from JRE's teardown of vanilla iPhone 14. Not the easier repair, but the fact that Apple doesn't use any balls inside speaker chambers. Whaaaat? It pumps up ridiculous bass, probably the best I've heard on most high end smartphones and they're using empty speaker chambers. Crazy. I always assumed they do given how full the sound is.

                          I'll never understand people who obsess over notch with such burning passion all these years of its existence, especially since they wouldn't buy an iPhone even if it had edge to edge display with underdisplay camera that shoots perfect selfies.

You just have a perception that it sits lower because it's detached from upper display edge and not connected to it.

                              the Vivo V21 was the first to have an OIS in the selfie camera, I'm surprised gsmarena didn't know that

                                Thank you gsmarena for pointing this out. I've been mentioning it since the day of the presentation. In fact you get less usable screen than in the previous notch models. And it's more intrusive. Lmao.

                                      My LG had a bigger notch that the iphone and it never bothered me, punchole does that even more for me.

                                      Solution? Bigger besels like Sony or ROG or under display cam.

                                        The quality on the 48MP RAW pics is amazing. Very natural looking. And the videos are absolutely amazing. Very, very great smartphone for media content creation. Should the Pro Max have a similar battery life as the 13 Pro Max model, then we are before an absolute beast.
