        When I saw battery life I stopped reading. Most important thing for me.

          They went from 26mm to 24mm. It is understandable because of the bigger sensor, but still they should have retained it with a newer lens.
          It's also high time they bring switchable aperture now, the DOF is too thin.

              Peak brightness here is only advantage over those E5/E6 panels.

              Iphones panels are known to have low response time, even compared to midrange phones ( not about touch sampling)
              8bit that cant well display content 10 or 12bit.
              Low flickering, this causes issues to many people's eyes.


              Issues that should not exist since it is ultra expensive phone. Anyway, Apple does not care. Gonna sell over 40 mi units. Why would they care?

                      Cons:
                      - no USB-C for charging (still)
                      - we cannot use bluetoorh and NFC across all devices on earth LOL

                        Key findings from the review:

                        - Before the reviews came out, I argued that the pill doesn't sit any lower than the old notch does - I was very wrong. Even though this will not change how most apps are rendered since the 13 Pro's notification bar was already considerably tall and the pill still sits within that area, the new design indeed cuts into a 21:9 video more. The cutout is smaller, sure, but more noticeable at the same due to the nature of its design. It's something one might need to keep in mind if they are planning to watch a lot of movies on their phone.

                        - As I keep saying, Dynamic Island seems to be a decent software implementation to hide a large cutout that could've been otherwise fairly obnoxious to the eyes of those who are already used to Android phones' very minimal punch hole cameras. Its consistently changing size makes it harder to notice the "dead" area of the screen and gives users an illusion that it provides extra features, even though having no cutout in the first place obviously would've been better. After reading a number of positive reviews regarding this "Island", I'm inclined to believe it's a visual trick that mostly works well for even those who know this is just a trick.

                        - The display is impressively bright, and the colour accuracy is impeccable. there's nothing to complain about here.

                        - Battery life is better for taking calls and browsing the web, but worse when it comes to watching a video or idle.

                        - Solid CPU and GPU performance uplift (albeit fairly minor), but I have a strong feeling that 8 Gen 2 might eclipse A15 this year in terms of sheer graphics performance. It's good to know that Apple finally improved their sustained performance, though - 84% for CPU and 75% for GPU stability are pretty impressive for a non-gaming phone.

                        - iPhone cameras continue to suffer from an offensive JPEG sharpening and clarity boost which ruins every natural texture, so I will keep saying iPhone cameras are not good for taking photos unless you shoot in RAW. Speaking of RAW, the new 48MP ProRAW resolves a surprisingly good amount of detail and is better than most Quad Bayer implementations of other manufacturers. Downsampling it to 24MP in the post should yield impressive per-pixel quality as long as there's a good amount of light. Now, who's saying that 48MP on a smartphone camera is pointless, eh?

                        - To me, the new Cinematic mode still looks meh - It's not really nice that now you can see all the edge haziness and artifacts in much higher 4K resolution. Ok, so the rest of the video recording capability is great, but for goodness sake, will Apple ever understand there's not much point in shooting videos in ProRes when there isn't the LOG profile to use?

                        A rather modest upgrade, and for most people iPhone 13 Pro is still plenty enough.

Harmonics tricking the ear in perceiving lower tones that it actually can play. Some DSP settings at work, nothing really special. In the end it still sounds fake, not a lot will notice it though. Nothing spectacular about it.

                              Years later and they STILL cannot catch up to the Huawei P50 Pro in camera quality. Ouch. Look at the comparisons in studio low lighting.
