Lowering apple sales by over 80% via government laws would be a pretty good idea.

Should help silencing apple fanboys who think their company has reinvented sliced bread.

    Most people actually said they were intrigued by how Apple turned annoyance into a center piece. Sure, name is a bit stupid, but regardless of that, I too was rather intrigued by what Apple managed to turn what's essentially a hole in the display into a main attraction. There will always be people whining about it, but it's a clever approach and most people actually like it. Between this Dynamic Island and not having FaceID, I'd pick dynamic island any time. Yeah, might be shock to you, but people also really like FaceID. Because it's a great reliable system. It's why Apple is sticking with it. Then again, I don't mind the old notch either, so if they still kept it, I wouldn't mind it at all. It's just there, who cares.

I don't like this feature at all because the whole idea of this feature is to hide the ugliness. That's so backward. If something is ugly, you improve it by making it less ugly. However, Apple makes it uglier and tries to hide it only when a feature is used. The whole reason to use the Dynamic Island is not to see the ugliness, not because you want to use the Dynamic Island. The whole idea is ridiculous.

          I wonder if the endurance rating is starting to show its flaws here.

          The phone scored 86h and it's even mentioned in negatives at the end... yet both the web browsing and video tests are excellent. Look at S22 - it has 85h endurance rating, almost the same, but died 8 HOURS SOONER in the web browsing test. That's an insane difference.

          Maybe the rating is leaning too hard on the talk time? I think most people are using their phones today as computers anyway - to consume media, play games, browse internet, camera. Nobody is calling 10 hours a day.

You endlessly whine in every iPhone article how everything is wrong and none of you ever even had an iPhone let alone actually wanted one. Even if they fixed all the things you don't like you'd still have something to whine about and not buy it anyway. It's not rocket science, you people are more predicable than clockwork.

              Seriously? The camera shots is awful, the photos are over processed. Doesn't look natural at all....
              A phone under 500 dollar can produce way more natural photos...

                  I do not tend to buy it, but it is nice to observe a lot of improvements compared to 13th gen - thermal, tiny bit better cameras, tiny bit better battery.
                  Battery, camera in terms of color accuracy and over sharpening are still abysmal, but still they are better than before.

                  Nice phones, but old tech like USB 2.0, bad camera results (I often take pictures of my kids), core software experience that luckily a lot of 3rd party mitigates, firmware bugs, often battery drain issues with updates, ancient BT implementation and a lot of other things makes me avoid it.

The holes cannot be small due to the presence of the FaceID sensors (which some people tend to forget when discussing DI), and although it still doesn't look beautiful, IMO Apple did a good job making large cutouts *less* disturbing than it otherwise would've been, and more seamless.

                    If possible I'd rather not have it and Apple should think of a way to tuck in all the sensors except for the selfie camera under the display eventually, but as for now I wouldn't particularly mind even if it was there, either. That's all I'm saying.

The battery life of the Xperia 5 IV is excellent. The Xperia 5 IV has a 6.1" screen and the thickness is comparable to that of this phone. It's unfortunate that the Xperia 5 IV uses the 8G1, though.

                                    According to the dxomark display review of the 13 pro max, there doesnt seem to be a response time issue and while the flickering isnt good at 480Hz, it seems to be the case for most oled displays (I’ve checked pixel 6A, samsung A53 and xperia 10 IV and they are all worse at 240Hz)
                                    So Im not sure what your are on about here

                                      The iPhone is probably the best-rounded phone there is, period. And the sales prove it, no matter what the trollies post.

Most important t... moreIt's a reasonable battery endurance given it's just a 6.1" phone that's not thick as a brick and is powered by worlds fastest chipset. Considering there are phones with flagship chipsets and much larger batteries that last the same or even worse, this is excellent performance imo.
