Camera is a step back. Nova 9 was noticeably better in low light. Nova 10 Pro is almost same as P50 Pro, which was also worse than Nova 9. Nova 10 Pro/P50 Pro are just lightly better than S22 and quite much better than iPhone 14 Pro. Mate 50 Pro doing also slightly better than S22, yet quite different to Nova 10 Pro/P50 Pro.
Still nothing can come close to Nova 9. Why doing such a downgrade?

We can make this simple. If the US is trying to protect Apple from losing market share to Huawei, China can shut down Apple's operations. No more manufacturing with their affordable labor. No more commercial or consumer sales. They banned government officials from using Apple products because of "security" reasons. They also banned certain books like the bible as well as facebook, twitter, google apps, youtube, google search and reddit amongst many others. They even banned Justin Bieber. Yet no one says a word about their censorship and restrictions on western companies. Not a peep.
This is not about cell phone sales and who makes a better mobile device. This is about prevention. You don't let a suspected thief into your house and hope for the best. You prevent them from coming into your home.

I think you are the one living under the rock throwing presumptions data which doesn't have proof just like Trump being scared of the truth that Huawei is way better than IPhone before it was banned.

If you think this wasn’t motivated because of money think again. Looks at Xiaomi got banned in the final month of Trumps term, there was no reason for that. Maybe you should first research stuff before accusing people of living under a rock

That's the case with Huawei in Malaysia, with apps for banks and e-commerce platforms widely available on Appgallery. These apps are tuned for Googleless Huawei, so issue of compatibility rarely happened. How did I know? Me and family used a few Googleless Huawei devices over the years.

Where you live might be different but where I am Huawei handsets couldn't catch Apple if Usain Bolt was carrying them. Their best opportunity to make an impact was 5g technology. A technology that has proven to be mostly marketing vs. practical.

Huawei got cancelled because they were about to surpass all the competition. The last phone mate 20 pro was in a class of its own. Look at the camera samples here, its not even a flagship but the images are amazing.

'On the contrary, the nova 10 Pro does a fantastic job of rending such complex parts, and they look natural. Even more expensive phones often fail at that, like the iPhones, so we do give Huawei credit where its due' - camera review
Glad that they noticing on how horrible iPhone camera so called 'big sensor' image processing really is.
