I guess that these camera samples were taken with Google's short Night Sight mode? The 7 Pro has two Night Sight modes, a short one and a long one. If I am not wrong, the short one is the new default Night Sight mode.

    Best phone out there, but battery life is a deal breaker for me, so no thanks unless battery life gets improved via update later.

      Pretty nice, especially night shots, but battery endurance is pretty weak for 5000mAh.

          A shame a phone that is not as expensive as others but it is not in the cheap range either and you have to wait 1 hour almost 2 for it to charge! just for following the steps of apple and copying things from samsung, for that and more I ruled out the purchase of this phone that and that I had the pixel 6 pro which is the same as this one with some quirks here and there

                That's not true in good light conditions. Google uses the 1.2 micrometer pixel mode of the sensor for 2x zoom in good light conditions. That's why you also get a 12.5 megapixel raw file in good light conditions at 2x.
                Sadly, they don't do this in low light conditions, even when you use Night Sight. Then you will get only 3 megapixel raw files because they use the 2.4 micrometer mode.

                  google needs at least 5 to 6 years of research to make google chipset competitive , even samsung after all these years still struggling

                    Did Google address VoLTE and 5G connectivity issues in non-officially supported countries (eg. Bulgaria)?

                          Too bad it has still poor battery life. Combined with slow charging that's a tough pill to swallow.

                            Thank God my wife's Pixel 7 Pro SEEMS to be holding up better than what these battery tests suggest but what the heck bro?
