in my test battery life is better than what I can see on Gsmarena site. I think it depends on how U using the phone.

Yeah, below avarage battery life and really slow charging time is a deal breaker for me. Maybe next year.

In fact, the iPhone 14 Pro (Max) is sharper and more detailed at 2x than pretty much anything, Pixel included, and even the Mi 11 Ultra has the edge against the Google phone. The Galaxy S22 Ultra does an okay job too, but it wouldn't be our first pick."
When claiming things like this, you guys should have included the iphone 14 pro max samples too, especially since what you call sharper may be oversharpened for others. Also since 2x from mi11u and s22u looks noticeably worse than p7p.

I'm generally impressed with the photo quality, especially at 5x zoom. That Xiaomi is a complete joke compared to this Pixel. That said, I personally bummed to see that GSMArena doesn't compare this phone against last year's Pixel 6 Pro.

Iphone = turtle charging and great battery life
Pixel = turtle charging with worst battery life
Google should work harder on tensor chipsets.

For 2022 that battery endurance is a deal breaker, fingers crossed the 7 fairs better as I really dig this phone

The only deal breaker is the charging anxiety in 2022. I don't need that slow tortoise charging of about 2Hrs to fully charge from 0-100% when on average others do it in about 30min

Battery life and cameras are not the main issues here. The biggest hindrance to gaining market share is pricing. If Google really hopes to sell twice as much phones this year and next, then the penetration price for this phone should be $699 or lower. For $799 the Galaxy S22 Ultra is a much better buy. The non-Pro model is better priced.

Can you please re-check your battery tests?
The G2 chipset is more efficient than last years Tensor and Google specifically made mention of improved efficiency ans battery life as well. The battery is the same size and the screen is similar yet you have the phone scoring worse on battery than the original Pixel 6 Pro.

- Average browsing/video playback for a LTPO screen
- Some night photos have watercolour
- Video bitrates are lower than necessary
- Selfie is bad
- Exynos barely on pair with SD888.
At least for some demanding tasks like video editing, it is faster than samsung. But who isn't ? Even phones with 865 are.
