I wouldn't pay that much money to have this garbage, terrible battery, no SD card, no audio jack.

If you want best camera, you have to buy huge phone with NOT useful pen (extra weight). Fak you Samsung and other android phones manufacturers. Why S22 has 50mpx instead of 108 mpx top level one? More over in Europe we have s22 with shit exynos! Terrible really terrible processor. Ehhh

I have had the Ultra for a week and I loathe it. My last phone, a Note 8, was 5 years old, & I was persuaded to replace it. I wish I never had. I can't make the functions work like my 8, from Ringtones to notification. The stylus on the 8 was on the right side, which I prefer. Some of my apps (notoriously Instagram & McDonald's) recognize a new device, but I can't register it because I can't sign in. This was a complete waste of money, for which I'll be paying off for the next 2 years. The best thing are the diverse ringtones, which I can't set up. Just shoot me now.

My s22ultra is rooted with custom Rom, kernels and overclocked cpu, gpu, and Ram is 18gb.
Incredible and insane brutal power torque at 13w from 5w standard TDP off current
It even blows the Gen2 snapdragon

You didn't get at all what capa said 😅 he used only 50mm if I'm right. And he said close enough because you need to move your feet. He didn't use any zoom.

Pmcp, 02 Dec 2022What different needs? The S22U has everything, Samsung... moreMore granular manual camera control designed for pros. Headphone/mic jack. Expandable storage. Granular manual video modes. HDMI input to act as a camera monitor. Super fast charging. Sustained gaming performance. Longer battery life.

These are all things that people may need. Whether you like it or not, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is not for everyone. I'm not a Samsung hater. I'm being realistic. If you store your media library locally the base configuration of this phone is gonna be useless for that. When you can get a 400GB microSD card for 35$, "get a higher storage variant" is not an acceptable answer. I'm sorry you can't have an objective view on what people may need out of premium phones.

The S22U has everything, Samsung's software is light years ahead of all the others, you don't know what a Samsung is, you're just a hater
You're talking about bugs that were fixed weeks after the release, update instead of spewing hate

It not s Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra long-term review, it is another review of the phone, in spite of that we all knew it's specifications. I would like to hear what is to use it in long term, not to tell me once again about what is the screen and what are the specs. And I can say that you all are doing it every time when you are writing so called long-term review. Boring.

Dunno about you but I'm getting a lot of stutters and weird app closing sometimes. Google chrome gets overloaded due to too many tabs, when im putting some tabs into a group it bugs out and doesn't work properly until restarting the app after closing. Some games just crash as well. I'm on Snapdragon s22 ultra, better performing in games and stuff but wow it gets hot and leeches battery as well. Dunno why apps are so badly optimised. Ark Survival evolved refuses to even start lmao

I've nothing against this phone I just want to present an objective viewpoint on this stuff. I find it very frustrating when people say things like "Samsung is objectively the best" because there really is no best. Every user has different needs. Also what I heard was things like camera app crashing, long shutter delay, and choppy UI.

I've been using almost every Samsung flagships (sometimes S series, sometimes note) as my main phone since S2, so I'm pretty sure that the experience has been very consistent. If there's any bug I'll definitely notice immediately.

I also got my mom another S22U shortly after launch. Mainly because I felt guilty about passing her the xiaomi phone I bought to try, but did not keep due to its fked up software. She has yet to complain once about any bugs on the S22U, which is much more than I can say about miui.

It's very easy to make false claims, then attribute it off to unidentified people that probably didn't exist.

Often, S22U uses the 1x zoom lens to zoom in for 3x at lower lighting conditions. You have to zoom in past 3x, then pull back to 3.1x and hope that the phone switches to 3x lens.
It's not a bug, but by design.
Through logic (and its obvious) that they are using a significantly poorer sensor for the 3x and 10x zoom.
