It doesn't support 4K 120FPS video recording. It doesn't have as configurable manual camera mode as Sony phones. It doesn't have good sustained performance. It doesn't have a very good night mode, partially due to lense reflections.
That is a VASTLY misinformed statement. This phone does not have all the features I mentioned in my original post, or if it does, as I pointed out, it's not gonna implement them as well.

Nameless, 25 Nov 2022No doubts it is a fantastic phone. Even if I dont like the ... moreThe S22U is actually the replacement of the Note series so it is big and square and that is very good. They should have called it NOTE 22 though. The naming is confusing.
Now i agree with you and i think there should be an S23PRO; smaller then S22+ but indeed with the Ultra Cam.
The ULTRA itself then can have the 10x periscope and pen plus the size etc. to make it stand out (Literally!) from the PRO.
Samsung should offer that top camera in more models. Not every photographer wants a Note.

If you want best camera, you have to buy huge phone with NOT useful pen (extra weight). Fak you Samsung and other android phones manufacturers. Why S22 has 50mpx instead of 108 mpx top level one? More over in Europe we have s22 with shit exynos! Terrible really terrible processor. Ehhh

I have had the Ultra for a week and I loathe it. My last phone, a Note 8, was 5 years old, & I was persuaded to replace it. I wish I never had. I can't make the functions work like my 8, from Ringtones to notification. The stylus on the 8 was on the right side, which I prefer. Some of my apps (notoriously Instagram & McDonald's) recognize a new device, but I can't register it because I can't sign in. This was a complete waste of money, for which I'll be paying off for the next 2 years. The best thing are the diverse ringtones, which I can't set up. Just shoot me now.

You didn't get at all what capa said 😅 he used only 50mm if I'm right. And he said close enough because you need to move your feet. He didn't use any zoom.

These are all things that people may need. Whether you like it or not, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is not for everyone. I'm not a Samsung hater. I'm being realistic. If you store your media library locally the base configuration of this phone is gonna be useless for that. When you can get a 400GB microSD card for 35$, "get a higher storage variant" is not an acceptable answer. I'm sorry you can't have an objective view on what people may need out of premium phones.

It not s Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra long-term review, it is another review of the phone, in spite of that we all knew it's specifications. I would like to hear what is to use it in long term, not to tell me once again about what is the screen and what are the specs. And I can say that you all are doing it every time when you are writing so called long-term review. Boring.
