It not s Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra long-term review, it is another review of the phone, in spite of that we all knew it's specifications. I would like to hear what is to use it in long term, not to tell me once again about what is the screen and what are the specs. And I can say that you all are doing it every time when you are writing so called long-term review. Boring.

Dunno about you but I'm getting a lot of stutters and weird app closing sometimes. Google chrome gets overloaded due to too many tabs, when im putting some tabs into a group it bugs out and doesn't work properly until restarting the app after closing. Some games just crash as well. I'm on Snapdragon s22 ultra, better performing in games and stuff but wow it gets hot and leeches battery as well. Dunno why apps are so badly optimised. Ark Survival evolved refuses to even start lmao

But I got to admit, before the S6 era, Samsung phone are some of the best, not because they are great, but because other are just worse.

mooox, 29 Nov 2022I'm not sure if the "bugs" that people talk ... moreThere's multiple videos on YouTube from around the launch of S22 showing it being pretty buggy. I've nothing against this phone I just want to present an objective viewpoint on this stuff. I find it very frustrating when people say things like "Samsung is objectively the best" because there really is no best. Every user has different needs. Also what I heard was things like camera app crashing, long shutter delay, and choppy UI.

Our society prefers... moreI'm not sure if the "bugs" that people talk about are bugs, or just Samsung features that people aren't used to. I've been using almost every Samsung flagships (sometimes S series, sometimes note) as my main phone since S2, so I'm pretty sure that the experience has been very consistent. If there's any bug I'll definitely notice immediately.

I also got my mom another S22U shortly after launch. Mainly because I felt guilty about passing her the xiaomi phone I bought to try, but did not keep due to its fked up software. She has yet to complain once about any bugs on the S22U, which is much more than I can say about miui.

It's very easy to make false claims, then attribute it off to unidentified people that probably didn't exist.

Often, S22U uses the 1x zoom lens to zoom in for 3x at lower lighting conditions. You have to zoom in past 3x, then pull back to 3.1x and hope that the phone switches to 3x lens.
It's not a bug, but by design.
Through logic (and its obvious) that they are using a significantly poorer sensor for the 3x and 10x zoom.

I'm not sure as I personally haven't used that phone, but I've heard quite a few anecdotes of it being buggy around launch. It's possible you got lucky. The Exynos version may be buggier I'm not sure.

A buggy mess is what you call every single Google pixel phone. I don't think there's a phone that has all the bugs fixed yet.

Anonymous, 29 Nov 2022Always Samsung s series it has a terrible battery life. Yes, I barely get 2 days of battery life from my S22 ultra. Most times, I need to charge the phone after 20 hours.

My s20 lasts 3 to 4 days as my secondary phone, but often I have to charge after 2 days if I have a lot of calls on the phone.

Samsung flagships ever been the most attractive phones for me since the very beginnings but never had a solid battery performance for my use,so I have always sold them straight away or not even tried. Preferred OnePlus over the years and other brands. But got to say since the S20 Fe 5g I have change my mind completely along with my actual one year old s21+ : battery is simply stunning especially with 4g/60hz reaching up to 10+sot in a full day. One UI is also the best interface for me and the fingerprint sensor is unbeatable (beated by vivo x80pro only:-)). Tried many phones this year but got back Samsung very quickly
