Nokia X30 review

I thought the team at gsmarena would be the first to notice the IR blaster on the X30 which only seems to be used for face unlock in low light.
If you wake the screen in low light or darkness look at the camera privacy indicator in the top right of the display, it is illuminated differently. It explains why the X30 is very reliable at face unlock in the dark.

Nokia still Alive? I wonder why they Didn't merge with any Chinese company like oppo , Xiaomi vivo etc for better presentation.. as they failed in market with poor products now after their failed return

My 8GB white Nokia X30 is performing buttery smooth since I got it a month ago this definitely is a good phone.

Nice spec sheet and a fair price and on top of that a very decent size, not absurdly sized like a near 7 inch phablet.
Gonna buy it around Christmas to replace my ancient Samsung galaxy J5.

That's exactly 150$ above my price range. I can only afford budget phone.
Deal breaker - HOW SAD!
Otherwise looks like nice phone. Good spec sheet!

This is suppose to be budget camera phone, if you find value in camera, otherwise if you care about perfomance you shouldnt spend over $250 for sd 695 phone.

SD 695 just doesn't suit the price tag. Should've been 778 at least or maybe 870. Otherwise a good looking phone

See, even the Xperia 10 IV has IP68 + Micro SD Card slot. And if that's still too expensive, I'm sure Motorola/Xiaomi might have something with SD695 out there.
This is just HMD trying to scam people again and again. Seems like they never learned their lessons after the 9 Pureview disaster

I want to know what went on in HMD teams' heads to think that this phone would be enticing at that price; only if it was $200 cheaper would it be worth a look.
