The camera is okay, but should never be what you buy this thing for. Wonder why there are no gaming phones wihtout any camera. Its not like the Steam Deck or Switch offer cameras and still they are the top notch (as in sells, not performance!) devices out there.

This smartphone is absolutely about how much performance you get for your money
How many FPS you get in game's and gaming performance for gaming
A note on the camera this smartphone does have the same high quality camera as found on other flagships
so I can't so what the problem is you can aways sideload the Google pixel camera app apk if you're not a fan of the Nubia camera app

Some of the comments are too absurd that I can't even comprehend the point
Why would someone plan to buy this thinking about the camera?
Pretty sure everyone who would buy this will have gaming and performance be the top priority. Not to mention a lower price than competitor gaming phones.
If you want a camera phone go buy an iPhone or a Samsung. Or Pixel. We want this niche category.

I really doubt adding more competent camera hardware and improving the post-processing - both of which are likely to cost Nubia a pittance - will turn this "550EUR" phone into an 750 or 850EUR phone...

If you don't like the Nubia camera software
It's possible too just install a third-party camera app from Google play store or alternative like Aptoide apkpure uptodown
Just use a camera app u prefer most camera apps from popular camera phones can be found on there's app stores
