Just get an actual console. You can also play Android games on your computer as well with an emulator. On the topic of Red Magic, I've been using a Red Magic 5G since launch (March 2020) and it's still pulling strong after 3 years. I will definitely be upgrading to a RM8 Pro (12GB/256GB) for $650 though. Hopefully, it will last me another 3 years.

Kivi, 20 Jan 2023How many major os update recieve this phone?
It's mor... moreIt'll only get 1 major update if you're lucky.
But no, updates are not more important than good hardware. Hardware is #1. If you're gonna go by that logic, get a horrible Fairphone. I'm all for updates, but they are not more important.

Great. I'm currently stuck at level 459 in Candy Crush Saga with my lame 3yr old SM-N976F. If I buy this, all my CCS levels should clear easily and will go even higher.
Nice.

I love this design, straight out of Nokia portofolio, more specifically, the Lumia 930, a device with a flowless design.

Sin, 21 Jan 2023The red magic 8 pro still has a headphone jack as well
We ... moreThe person you replied to doesn't seem to be against headphone jacks.
But at any rate, the masses are already too deep into corporate kool-aide. We're outnumbered and there's nothing we can do.
The next thing to do will be buttons and these fools will lap it up.
All we could do is just buy whichever companies who emulates Apple the least.

We still have that at least
I have realized you sure don't know how important something is till it gets taken away from you
The taking away of every port expendable storage and repairablability and upgradability is the problem in the smartphone market
Better should more functionality and features and better design choices
Although the market would rather end down another direction with no internet In making improvements
camera behind the screen and spyware or the pointless trying make bezel smaller that is completely unessential and unnecessary
So far this has lead too hole punch or notches that lead too blind spot on screen and now the selfie camera suffer because of this sillyness

Solun1, 20 Jan 2023Most people don't want the same phone for five years. ... moreTrue
I actually can't remember
how this comment got there 🤔
I think I write something similar or another when I was tired or something
I definitely want the lifetime of a smartphone too be much longer
Updates don't actually matter that much or that important as a smartphone that is 5 year's old simply can't handle 5 year's newer software versions of android
It just slow the phone down too much or break game compatibility with games of the time period of the time the phone was made in play from it's time period
So os updates really don't get us far and are more of a unnecessary problem that takes up storage space
It's a hard problems too tackle
People having the choice too run whatever version of Android they like would be good
The problem lays with Google not supporting there old android versions really and game developer's making games with silly high system requirements for hardware and lacking the opinion too just turn the graphics down by enough too make the game playable
The os support problems really lays in developers not adding backwards compatibility issues and concerns
With how hard a game is too run smoothly
There's some games that requires older android versions or new version of Android or require additional hardware power or will only work on some processors

Sin, 20 Jan 2023I want 5 years of updates, but no Android manufacturers giv... moreMost people don't want the same phone for five years. Even apple users who have those updates upgrade every two years (well, most of them anyway), because they don't want to be stuck with older HW. I liked almost every phone I ever had myself but still upgraded no later than after three years because games become more demanding every year and after three years you can barely play them or even run them.

Sadly so
Smartphone design choices
I just wish more ports and expandable storage pop up camera been better
Sony better in design teams but Sony takes away people changers from the box
just like the bad brands do Sony phone are also rather expensive the 4k screens on then are worth considering at least
With nearly every smartphone
Storage is one of them heavily overlooked specs smartphones always cheap out on storage space
Yeah having Safe backup for pictures does is always a good idea more reasonable for that SD card slot So something like family photos or something don't get lost

Sin, 20 Jan 2023I know
I wish people listen too me on this
At least I try... moreWe are just preaching to the choir. The ones who care/already know are either not here or just simply gave up. Like people wanting 3.5mm jacks, sd slot, flat screens, notchless design packed in a single package refusing to buy a Sony. Like, what cheaper alternative could they ever get? lmao.
I look like a fool here managing multiple local storage of stuff that people just store or access online. But one thing for sure is that I won't be like those people, who turned Facebook/Photos into their personal hard drive, who would end up angry once a worst case scenario happens and their FB memories deleted out of the blue.
Buying a 4k photo/video capable phone with gimped storage and gimping them even more when uploaded on social media sounds dumb but that's the modern crowd for you.
