I hate the over-processed, unnatural look of pics. Lot of halos from sharpening. Enhanced edges, that remind the processing on TV screen, and it kills grass texture.
And clouds that are supposed to looks undefined and blurry, looks like a bad painting.
This might look fine at distance, but not when you look close at pics.
Please Samsung, put better optics, and stop it with the over-processing.
My next phone might be again a flagship from Xiaomi, with leica lenses.

Samsung is virtually forcing you to buy ULTRA model by keeping its high specification. If I want a small screen size flagship phone ( Like S23) then I have to compromise, camera, memory and other aspects but have to pay flagship charges. No small true flagship phone. By by Samsung.

All those features I listed can easily fit into a flagship, regardless of size. They also cost next to nothing to include them. And they are all consumer friendly features. You're being complicit with the OEMs who's motives are profit-driven, and counterproductive against progress and consumers.
Have a look at the Redmi 10X Pro. It's got all those bells and whistles you don't like. Only thing it's missing is a Reverse-Wireless Charger which is fine because it's hardly useful and damages your phone with its inefficient heat.

The reviewer, having a handset, was able to go into the settings, development area and the try locate aptx adaptive. As mention, there was not option for it. It would suggest that Samsung are not paying the licence fees to have it there, instead they want to push their codec.

The battery itself in Samsung phones are of much better quality than those China brands... I encountered swollen batteries in cheap China phones frequently.

I just ordered the S23 Ultra, intending to use it as my main camera after reading some initial reviews by pros. I have put up my Canon camera gears accumulated over 6 years for sale...
.. that is Real Innovation to me.
Please see the launch video where the professionals use the Ultra to shoot some movies... Impressive!
