The S23 does now have a vapour chamber, whereas the previous S22 just had graphite pads.

So all these factors will surely mean better longer battery life for the S22:

Samsung Galaxy S23 trio has improved cooling with larger vapor chambers:

marclee37, 02 Feb 2023with the chipset manufacturing stay unchanged at 4nm this y... moreI still have a working S6 (my previous device), it was a great smartphone except for the battery life & thermal management.

As you know the S23 series comes with the superior Snapdragon 8 Gen2 (for Galaxy SM8550-AC) chipset globally which is better than 8 Gen1, & much better than Exynos in performance & efficiency.

So I'm absolutely certain that the bigger 200mah battery on the S23 & S23+ will last longer than the S22 & S22+ especially the Exynos version, because of the battery & SoC.

However I would've liked to see more done on the thermal management (vapour chamber) on the smaller S, which might affect heavy demanding gamers/ prolonged 8K video shooters?

i can't imagine what could Nokia's N808 bring with this massive camera prowess

Terrible, terrible camera on the Ultra. Oversharpened to hell. Who did they employ for this? Ex-OnePlus developers? And there's not even good detail from the 200mp mess - it's like looking at something being scaled up/down, not native resolution. This is what happens when you chase tiny pixels. Can't cheat physics. I really miss HTC in this area, they would never allow such aggressive and ham-fisted processing. They weren't the best, but they had ~restraint~. They also were literally copying Pixel style later on, so they know how to pivot and please customers, instead of "SHARPNESS IS THE ONLY WAY. MORE ENHACEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

And yes, people will FOREVER, until the end of time, complain about things like headphone jack/sd card/removable battery/etc. Why? Because the Note line built it's reputation off of UTILITY FEATURES. That's what drew people in the first place. It was a competitor to the LG V series, but now that LG is gone, where are people supposed to go? To Chinese brands they may not trust and aren't even available in USA? It's obvious why people are so vocal. It's like buying a cake that has frosting for years but later the baker decided, "Nah, who needs frosting on the outside? There's frosting inside so that you can make due with that. And who needs 3 layers too? They can make due with 2 layers so I don't have to cook as much."

Samsung don't make phones for people that want a toy to play with, they make phones for people that want a phone. accept it and move on.

                          > Samsung has extended its environmentally-conscious approach to the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Like its predecessor, it ships in a 100% recycled box and is fitted with parts made from recycled materials.

But buy charger separately in its own packaging, and contribute in bonuses of "hardworking" C-level. The only people who are fooling themselves are social media reviewers praising the device without addressing elephant in the room, and fanboys

No headphone jack. No SD Card slot. No removable battery that will obviously need to be replaced. Why do we put up with this abuse from Samsung?

Also, they need to put all the Ultra features in the smaller size S23. The 6+ inch phones are difficult to handle.

I have the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro however I do not have a Samsung phone(urgently needed TWS with minimalistic design and good overall package) so I was actually considering getting the Galaxy S23+ but alas! it didn't even meet my expectations :(

Specs, design, etc. If you go on youtube and check out other people's first impressions, you'll get more or less the same content. There's nothing in this review that could not have been gotten with a few minutes with the phone, and GSM Arena has likely had review units for some time.

Why is everything always a conspiracy with you people?

Hi, it seems the s23 ultra takes 200mp and binned to 50mp, after that scale down to 12mp that's why the picture is higher detail yet more noise than s22 ultra
