This way, makes impossible to fix this.
Even colder profile cant solve, nor RGB sliders.

RGB control: another things other UIs have and android stock still lacks. 😒

But if you see that photos in lightroom o photoshop is a different history. I have compared both and S23U photos have clearly very very much more information than the Iphone 14 pro max does... and to be honest it's the first time in a long time that samsung tie and win to iphone

Got the Red Magic 8 Pro instead of this. It's a better buy!

Anonymous, 12 Feb 2023I thought only on reddit ppl liked to use this dumb expression. I appreciate your extremely valuable comment.

Now I'm rereading the screen section, "The Natural mode, on the other hand, is spot-on for sRGB content and it comes with no further tweaking possibilities" seems like a warning sign as it doesn't say how much deviation from the standard GSMArena considers to be negligible before the colours are no longer "spot-on" for them. I'll wait for Notebookcheck to release their detailed review on this phone, I'm expecting a reasonable but not superb colour accuracy from this phone's display.

"Looking at the 12-megapixel photos in auto mode, I have the impression that Samsung has been competing for years only against itself in the category of the WORST and DISGUSTONG photos that can be taken with a smartphone. I think the S23 is the real king of this category."
                Hard to disagree. :)
Photos in default 12 for me are unusable. Oveprocessed, oversharpened, over-everything. But 50 Mpix has potential. I see a few problems with them. First of all, preview in the ExpertRAW - it is just bad. Secondly, I have found that quiet often, I see some processing artifacts from HDR on the generated jpg (when I have selected RAW + JPG) and previews of the RAW, like halos around branches, and big dark blotches in the sky, while they are not there in the RAW opened in Lightroom.

SirArtur, 11 Feb 2023Well... I hate new processing. Too extensive sharpening. Agree.

If someone doesn't, just check the photo compare tool, and take a look at how all the plain surfaces are oversharpened as hell compared to other phones.

I pick the phone because of camera, espcially main. 12S Ultra, Vivo X90 Pro Plus beats S23 Ultra there. Actually, also Mi 11 Ultra has better main cam.

                              Hello,
Seems like some people here find something to complain over however good the technology gets.
                              1) 8 Bit (16 million) and not 10 bit (1.07 billion )
                              - Is it practical to review Images at this detail level on a Phone?
                              - I would prefer to do this on a large computer monitor..
                              etc etc etc

Take a look at the following links to get more ideas of what the S23 Ultra indeed can do...

The only time I ... moreFor me, phones should have Adaptive 60Hz where you run 60Hz all the time and let the app goes higher than 60Hz if it has high refresh rate support. That way, you the flexibility of long battery life while still enjoy the smooth animation when gaming. Constantly changing the refresh rate in Settings can be a down right nuisance.

"one of the best displays in the business"

The most useless bunch of words that says nothing but fluff a low level thing or muddy the waters of the best thing. It's also lazy. Considering how long has this website has been going on and how many phones they review. I would think they would know what the BEST would look be like. Failure in the essence of reviews.
