X90 Pro+ shines in certain aspects; the same goes for the S23 Ultra. No one dominated on another in terms of camera, both are versatile and come with their own shorts.

              Just like MCDonald's isn't dramatically bad, RAW shooting with smartphones aren't that bad either. I've shooted RAW, it produces good results.

              Nothing that fits in your pocket will capture RAW like a Nikon D850 or whatever.

                  Also, most of the times what you need from a camera is something you can use right away. You can always shoot RAW and play with these later btw...

I nearly always end up using the main camera anyway so the others are not that important to me either. Didn't like the display on this phone though. The curves are very large so the typical green sides issue is there. I think the display is the biggest complaint of most Chinese users also looking at the real user reviews but apart from that it's a very good phone.

                            This phone shouldn't even exist!

                            1. Mediocre battery life
                            2. Mediocre processor. Mediatek is trash
                            3. Mediocre camera setup as the ultra wide is mediocre, the x2 zoom is mediocre and the selfie is mediocre, a mid-range 32mpx front camera that doesn't go above 1080p
                            4. Mid-range screen, worse than a 2019 Samsung Note 10+ as it has lower resolution, dpi, brightness...
                            5. Extremely ugly back design with that bulky washing machine door they call camera modules

                            I can even continue but why would I? This phone makes no sense. And they will even have such big balls to ask for more than +1.000€ for this garbage. This should've stayed in China. The only good Vivo (and it's still far from the best) is the Vivo X90 Pro+ as this one is an utter joke. BBK Group be failing once again as they always do. Let's see if they improve the Oppo Find X6 Pro or they will fail again like they failed with the X5 Pro, as it was literally a X3 Pro without the microscope lens and uglier and heavier.

                              Would be great to have detail, hdr, raw, zoom, bokeh,... phone camera comparison here.

I just want good display, good battery life and top main cam. This phone offer everything, perfect display, good battery life and top main cam. Dont care other cams like "tele" (im using 800mm REAL TELEPHOTO on my camera for real telephotos like birds, animals, sport etc), so ideal for me and thanks to Vivo for making this model :) No need Plus variant, its wasting money for me.

                                    Anders, 18 Feb 2023It's a downgrade on the X80 Pro, deliberately nerfed b... moreThe x80pro was kind of an anomaly as normally Vivo has a regular x series phone, a pro and a pro+, but last year they cancelled the pro+ variant so the pro model was positioned higher than usual and was priced more like a pro+ model. Now the pro model has gone back to its usual middle ground and the pro+ model is more like the follow up to the x80pro. Bear in mind also that the launch price of the x90 pro was quite a bit cheaper than the x80 pro when they launched in China so it's in a cheaper price category.

                                      Photos from the main camera have this distinct Samsung 'feel'. Like all the world is made of cardboard boxes and detail is painted on them. Hollow. Fares a bit better with natural objects.

                                        Of course they don't compete with APS-C or larger cameras, but an RX100 should be comparable.
