You're absolutely goddamn right, believe it or not i just bought a *new* unopened 11 Lite 5G NE this last week for ~240$ for the 8/128 variant and i've been loving it so far, the fingerprint is really snappy and reliable and i just updated to MIUI14, and depending on wether i'll get MIUI 15/ Android 14 or not i'll keep this phone for another 2 to 3 years so i've been considering the 13 Lite as a good upgrade for the future untill i saw the specs and the performance ...
it's literally almost the same chipset with worse battery life/ speakers and notch
The only thing the 13 does better is the 67W fast charge and the slitghtly higher 120hz refresh rate, i would'nt have complained if they went with a sd 7 gen 2
i think when the time comes i'll just get a used base S23 or maybe i'll get lucky and find a new one again lol, i really love this year's galaxy clean look and the compact form factor not to mention TSMC's super fast and power efficient 8 gen 2 which was a huge upgrade over the 8 gen 1 with its overheating and battery issues

xiaomi 13 lite is heavy garbage. When answering, it regularly hangs up. When changing tabs, some lines appear (graphical bugs). The rounded edges have poor touch sensitivity,... I had a 10T lite before and it's a better phone than the 13 lite.

Unfortunately, this phone leaves a lot to be desired. Looks like stand-by uses too much of battery charge, I wish it had a smaller (12/12X) size, camera is so-so, fingerprint scanner placed too low on the screen thus not comfortable to reach, just mono sound (it's not like I need a stereo on phone, but when you hear other phones in comparison, you immediately realize how so-so this phone sounds). Why to copy ugly iPhone new notch? Wouldn't it be better to invest in OIS for main camera or better (more battery efficient processor)?

Given that the 11 lite ne has identical performance, better battery life (so probably roughly equivalent battery life after a year of use), a side mounted fingerprint scanner and a smaller selfie camera, I can't think of a reason to upgrade to the 13 lite, especially since I'm still getting software updates that are making the OS run more efficiently.

And the reason for such poor thermals? Samsungs 4nm manufacturing process yet again. They ruined the snapdragon 8 gen 1 too until tsmc rescued snapdragon with a much better tsmc made 8plus gen1. Seriously Samsung need to stop making mobile chips. Same problems with their own exynos.

It so silly when the Redmi Note Pro lines (Note 12 Pro) had OIS but Xiaomi line does not (even if it is a Lite version).
