A mobile photography competition & you didn't include a Huawei flagship? That's just wrong, because Huawei has been the champ for years now...

Also, The BBK brands have come a long way in photography.

I think it all just go down with preferences, never liked a single shots by Vivo. overall I find the 12S Ultra the most appealing. brighter doesn't mean its better, 12S' deep contrast reminds me of Sony's it's often the less brightest resulting in somehow 'dramatic' shot. it also make the image much easier to edit, same with the 12S Ultra.

I can't imagine the result if I'd use vivo's and tweak it in let say Lightroom, it'll just look blown.

In the Samsung's box there's no charger, case or pre-installed screen protector, but at least there's lots of noise in the cameras, what the other brands give you very rare...

The Banding in the skies from the Samsung s23 ultra and Vivo 90 pro is horrible how come you haven't notice that. I wouldn't want to print my photo at all using those cameras the problem seems to be the multi stacking that the phones use. It's either too much compression or the frames ain't enlign properly. Forget about taking photos with blue skies in them.

Gsmarena should have written the FF equivalent values as extra info and make article richer.

Even if s23u had imx989, would lose.
Photos would have same excess of sharpening and worst colour science of all phones.

Time for bias youtubers stop claiming sharpening samsung abuses is real details.

Pixel 7 Pro should've been thrown in for good measure.
