I'm so confused by how you can look at that Main sensor and UW senor and say it's colours are "true to life" when next to each other they look completely the different?
The main cam is a lot brighter and warmer, giving the impression that the photo was taken in the middle of summer and the UW seems more accurate than the main shooter that it actually looks like it's end of winter in comparison.
The dead looking grass in the UW is yellow in the main sensor, looking at any recent Camera reviews (X90 Pro, Xiaomi 13/ Pro) I don't see the same colours being produced either
Looks ghastly when you put them next to each other and I wouldn't have guessed it was the same phone taking the picture if I didn't already know.

I like the phone and its camera was already rated as number one by dxo.
I missed in your camera review the mentioning of the Falcon-Capture-Function which Honor advertised on their website as an AI supported snapshot function for fast moving objects.
Besides, the phone will probably launch in May and I heard that there would be 2 major updates before the launch. So, this can't be the final review and probably has to be amended.
But thanks for this great review. I am torn between this phone and the Xiaomi 13 pro.

Everything seems right except for the battery 🔋 should've been better, it's a big one but not optimized right

B... moreFind a way to get Chinese version, then the battery will no longer bother you, although the global version also isn't something that let you down in middle of day but yeah it is a loss in battery to almost every competitor in this field.
But 2y os update for such good phone is not what I ever choose for my self.

what do you think is better, magic5 pro or xiaomi 13 pro? Based on reviews ive seen from random people, miui can be a little complicated to use but honor has worse battery life.

GSMArena, big thanks for your review. So now we can have an overall conclusion:
GPU Throttling problems because it has a bad cooling system. Mix that up with this ugly design, lame battery with 109h endurance rating, even more lame given the fact they boast about the "new silicon carbon battery", cameras are very good but still not the best, and video and selfie are far from the best, it has optical sensor (like 200$ phones) not ultrasonic sensor and the 0 software support Honor offers (Honor Magic 4 Pro from April 2022 is still with Android 12 in March 2023) and you got... A BIG FAIL of a phone!

Great to see that superwide is not of course thing, even with the performance of other cameras being great.
lvl2 - great lens, lvl3 - hi res and great lens, this is like lvl1.
