Reading the comments, it's clear that A54 comes with 2 storage types - UFS 2.2 and 3.1. But what's not clear as to why such a big smartphone maker felt the need to even consider using UFS 2.2, since A54 is not lower-end or entry level phone. It's a premium midranger...

Nugra, 03 Apr 2023Does anyone have an A546B that has tested your storage spee... more200 MBps sequential write???

You may be having a defective unit.

Reviewers who tested the A546E found that it has 500 MBps in Sequential Read AND write, while around 240 MBps in Random Read AND write.

If I can meet another owner of Samsung A546B, so as to confirm that UFS 3.1 is exclusive to A546B, I intend to make a Reddit post detailing this disparity.

Anonymous, 03 Apr 2023The first for European countries, the latter for India. It seems A546B is for Europe while A546E is for parts of Asia (including India, Middle East) and some parts of Africa. Check this:

Anonymous, 03 Apr 2023wow, that's just unfair considering the price they... moreI guess, but Samsung is charging €500 in Europe for the A54, which is roughly equal to 45 000 INR, less than the 40 000 INR msrp in India.

So they are giving SOMETHING more for those Europeans who end up paying a higher price

TechGeek132, 03 Apr 2023Ok, so it seems A546B has UFS 3.1 while A546E has UFS 2.2Does anyone have an A546B that has tested your storage speed? mine in indonesia is an A546E and only gets 500s MBps sequential read and 200s MBps sequential write.

I once asked Samsung Indonesia, they answered that the A54 uses ufs 3.1, but I don't believe it after seeing the test that I did myself, moreover they once mentioned that the A34 uses D920 instead of D1080 even though it was corrected the next day. I'm sure the answer is only the sales/marketing team, not the technical team who really understands the specifications inside.
