The "faster" SoC and storage is nothing when you don't care about games. Everything else is more than fast enough on any mid-ranger.
If i pay so much money, i won't accept any major compromises.

If you don't agree, there's also a Realme GT 2 Pro with much superior Soc, better screen with higher resolution, better build with GG victus, ufs 3.1, 4k 60, much better battery etc oh, doesn't have 3.5...

Nah, price too high for what it offers, they're destroying the redmi image. Get a Xiaomi 12T Pro instead, from Europe run you like €550 and it's and incredibly much better phone:
much more powerful snap 8+ gen1, higher resolution screen with better touch frequency response and higher 1200nits, faster ufs 3.1, 4k 60fps, optical fingerprint...
This note 12pro + should cost no more than €399

Energy efficient Dimnesity 1080 coupled with OLED screen and 5000 mAh battery gets only 88 hours endurance rating, WTF Xiaomi??? Why Realme 10 Pro+ with same chipset, similar screen and battery gets much more

Since no EIS is applied i think 4k video looks good(because of no cropping) Even though it has great video quality but without stabilization in 4k it is useless....

Well i hope the Turbo will be available in Europe and with much better battery life, because if not, then there will be zero decent mid-rangers from any brand.

I remember with emotion the redmi note 10 pro (I still have, I update Android 13) I check all the checkboxes ✅ of a good team and excellent price
but now...
redmi note series is dead
this almost 500$ ?????
price, specs, crap chipset, old android...
it is better to go for xiaomi 12T pro (550$)

My point was simply to illustrate that tax is one of the main reasons why Xiaomi phones (and by extension other Chinese brands) are more expensive in Europe compared to Asia

Over that its just pure marketing gimmick for these brands that cannot support their handsets with long software support.

In the UAE VAT is 5% whereas in Europe it's around 20% (it varies slightly from country to country). Therefore if the after VAT price in the UAE is €400 the price before VAt would be €381. Meanwhile in Europe with a price of €500. Before VAT that would be around €416 Euro. Therefore the real price gap is really just €35 when we take account of government taxes. The price is still higher but the gap is not as large as it seems.

The point is not for the hands, but for the needs (gaming, streaming, social media). Smaller phones like iPhone SE (4.7") kinda no longer relevant with our needs. Anything below 7" is still acceptable if the bezel is narrow and the weight within 200grams, my opinion.
