Over that its just pure marketing gimmick for these brands that cannot support their handsets with long software support.

In the UAE VAT is 5% whereas in Europe it's around 20% (it varies slightly from country to country). Therefore if the after VAT price in the UAE is €400 the price before VAt would be €381. Meanwhile in Europe with a price of €500. Before VAT that would be around €416 Euro. Therefore the real price gap is really just €35 when we take account of government taxes. The price is still higher but the gap is not as large as it seems.

The point is not for the hands, but for the needs (gaming, streaming, social media). Smaller phones like iPhone SE (4.7") kinda no longer relevant with our needs. Anything below 7" is still acceptable if the bezel is narrow and the weight within 200grams, my opinion.

The prices in Europe for Xiaomi and BBK phones is way higher than in Asia, for example this phone costs less than 400€ in UAE and the 13 Lite has a similar price

Visuth, 29 Mar 2023galaxy a54 destroy note 12pro+?? 25w vs 120w 🤣🤣 samsung a54... moreHeat issues can give big impact to the battery life especially battery endurance, imagine if you charge a throttle phone with 120w power, what a VERY GOOD benefit, lets say a54 have slow 25w charging speed, i can make sure its not really that slow, my older brother own the m51, a 7000 battery capacity with 25w charger and turns out its not that slow, its just need 1h 55m from 5% to full charge, well he is not a heavy user for phone and the battery is very long lasting.

Fast charging no matter what companies marketers say will harm battery more than slower chargers, cause it causes much more heat, for example my Xiaomi 12T with 18W charger (from my other Xiaomi smartphone) barely reaches 27-30C while with 120W charger it goes to 42-44C which is ofc not extreme temperature but still will lead to faster battery degradation. I charge with slower charging cause i don't want to buy a new smartphone every 2-3 years, produce less e-waste people.

Yes A54 does destroy this phone, in every single way except charging speed.

For example I bought Xiaomi 12T (8/256) during the launch in Jakarta for 355EUR (tax inclusive, Mi Band 7 as bonus). For Samsung the prices are similar, sometimes its more expensive in Jakarta. Note: Jakarta is near to Bali.

It seems that Xiaomi stop producing budget phone with good specs. This is really a letdown. Now we can't even have a phone company that sell phone with good specs at affordable price. The Note 12 pro specs are pretty good, but price doesn't match its specs.
