after owning the Zenfone 5, im done with Asus. they are lazy when it comes to updates. i got only 1 OS major update. they are sooo lazy they wont even release VOLTE and wifi calling enabling updates when the phone hardware supports it. they clearly under estimate brand loyalty. i even owned the Zenfone 2 and 2 other tablets, recommended asus phones to family and friends. but no more.

But S23 do be having that Samsung bloat, I can't believe I'm saying this but I'd rather go with Chinese software than 3 of the same kind of apps on the android (because on android you CAN'T uninstall system apps, CAN'T - they stay there forever and take up memory)

Camera samples are top notch. I mean just with +100 contrast, +500 colour and so on. Its okay I am sure, for those intellectuals who crave for it. The ultrawide is even better.

Why they removed 4k and autofocus from front camera. They should be adding not removing features. Overall nice package.

I'll pass, for one it's £750, secondly, it only gets 2 years of updates, and finally, even the £450 Pixel 7a has a better camera

But for video it is good choice. 2x zoom on main camera + iso25-100 can produce easily 1/1500s on sunny day. For human body movement it is enough also 1/640s.

They also seems to have changed their camera processing philosophy. This looks like a mix of 2 year old iPhone and Samsung.
