Don't take a single number out of a context and try to preach false tales.

Videos are not the only thing people use smartphone for, although I agree if you're watching a lot of content this is not the best solution. It depends what you use the phone for.

After seeing the latest chinese foldables. I started to consider jumping ship because of their rapid evolution, unlike Samsung that always stick to their ancient designs for too long

Dear reviewer,
Where is the spotlight on those pathetic plastic screen on the inner display? Where is the accountability for the failure to address this? You have just mentioned Samsung replaces this ? Is it for free ? Is it available all the time in all repair locations ? Please get your facts right. This is a pathetic design flaw that Samsung refuses to acknowledge. Samsung fold phones are a design disaster. They claim so much testing is done on folding or flipping the phone. Let them give a guarantee for inner screen protector for 2 years.

It looks like there is very little interest in the Fold 5, only three pages of comments. This is nothing considering that it is supposed to be a TOP phone. I wonder if the (too) high price is really the only reason for lack of interest?

Samsung phones/tablets are pretty much perpetually on promo and discounts here, yet their sales are pretty much decreasing on the flagships (even if they have promos and trade-in deals which kinda suck because of how low the trade-in values are now).
Even during release/launch day of their new phones, there are hardly any lines to pick-up devices. Customers also get annoyed because their pre-orders are often delayed due to their poor logistics and shipping.
Meanwhile, on the side of the Fruit company, there's pretty much a really long line for pick-up of pre-orders of the latest iPhone on launch date (and they don't have problems with logistics, so you can pick up your Order on the date promised), and they don't even have discounts/promos which is amusing.
Here’s my anecdote on how crappy Samsung’s logistics is in our country:
I pre-ordered the S23 Ultra a day after pre-orders started in February. I was promised that it’ll arrive on the 2nd week of February. That day came, and to my great annoyance and inconvenience (I pre-order in the metro area because their stores was supposedly more reliable) I was told my Order will be delayed a few weeks because of their poor logistics.
Meanwhile, my sibling that pre-ordered the 14 Pro Max like a week before the end of the Pre-Order period managed to her phone on the launch date here.

"Better screens are sold to other OEMs" - My friend, Not everyone wants more than 1B colours, and it doesn't mean the world to everyone, visibility in daylight and colour accuracy is way more important. Here is a fact for you- The Human eye can perceive 16.77 Million Colours/shades. That is 8-bit in bit depth. I mean, 10-bit panel is cool, but 8-bit is not bad. I wish they implement true 10 bit, but there is nothing to complain about 8-bit+FRC panel.
"Using ISOCELL when EXMOR is far better." EXMOR is good, but so is ISOCELL (this argument is solely about smartphone sensors). The only EXMOR sensor that is superior is the 50.3mp 1.0" type sensor. But in all other cases, the ISOCELL and EXMOR counterparts go hand in hand. Also, in many instances you can notice that the shooting the 50mp 1/1.56" ISOCELL vs 50 mp 1/1.56" EXMOR at their nominal resolution, ISOCELL has better Dynamic Range, higher level of detail and overall better noise control, and in 12.5mp mode, they are almost the same.
I don't know which world you live in, but it definitely doesn't underperform. In fact, in many cases, it performs better than most with better stability.
Also, I don't understand the basis of you saying poor calibrated screen, when their flagships feature some among the most bright and accurate displays. If you aim for colour accuracy, put it in Natural Mode.
I do agree with the fact that there is a lot of stuff that comes pre-installed and takes up a lot of space. I wish that wasn't the case, but it is. But if you don't need those apps, you can uninstall most (not all) pre-installed applications.
Not having an S-pen slot is an oversight, but I would rather it have more battery capacity and better cooling at the expense of S-pen slot. And I think I speak for the majority of users when I say about 80% of the Fold users don't use S-pen.
Name another Tablet style foldable that has more than 3x zoom (except Pixel Fold).
