So it doesnt have the best endurance (gsm means of testing is still broken and the fact is it doesnt have the best video playback or web browsing which are actually 2 main things to look at when USING YOUR DEVICE).

It also has very average cameras, some sensors not changing since the fold 2, its screens arent the best, very average again actually, speakers are decent, charging is a joke... Still. Brightness isnt the best so isnt best for outdoor use or content consumption.

Am i missing something here? How is this a 4.6/5? Why did you instantly compare it to the worst foldable on the market? (pixel fold) is it not obvious to everyone they are just pushing certain companies and products now?

    The Z fold 5/4s is a major flop, the minor iterative of NO battery upgrade, cameras, tiny width front screen and silo for S-pen, While Z Flip 5 got the most important upgrade with the front screen.

    The Korean pre-order number speaks for itself the Fold 5 has a 22% shrinking order despite heavy pre-order discounts; while Z flip5 increases sales volume.

    Samsung has been too lazy or rather trying to milk as much money from the same design that makes the Fold 5 a dinosaur in today's Folding phone, compared with upcoming Xiaomi's Fold or Honor Magic V2; which is the new benchmarks in design and hardware with much better Camera, battery, under 10mm thin design & most importantly normal sized front screen with Stylus support. I left Google fold out this year as its 1st generation product with teething problems, typical of Google.

    If only the chinese brands can nail the software and repair network, they would leave the Fold 5 for dead. So Samsung wants do something drastic to Fold 6 its going to to loose its market dominance entirely and become irrelevant in the folding space for the ultra premium market. Their sloppiness can be seen in the fact they are the ones who pioneered the category for ultra premium and had the No Gaps patent for 4years, yet they are the last ones who implemented it.
    Lol, talking about sitting on your laurels for last 2 years doing next to nothing, so sick of waiting for Samsung to get its act together that I'm just going to buy either the Honor, Oneplus or Xiaomi's Fold, as soon as they can released it outside China to replace my rubbish Fold3.

          Surprised anyone finds any of the cameras good. Be it regular selfies or main camera, My Oneplus nord 2t takes better pictures in every Mode and even those arnt good. The selfie cams especially on Fold are outright terrible, or the i have a defective unit.

          Pretty sure im swiching this Fold 5 to Honor v2 when it comes out

            Only positive is fact samsung gonna give good evaluation and huge discount when client trades-in any Z Fold. Easily more than 40% of its initial price.

            Other brands barely offer 10% of what a phone is worth.

              Delta above 2 is opposite of accurate.
              It is poor calibration.
              Mix Fold 3 is thinner and it has periscope.

              Vivo X Flip has 4400mAh like this.
              So bizarre from samsung.
