        How about OS upgrades?
Sony is notorious for being late or dropping the upgrades altogether.
Compare that to Samsung's 4 year upgrades cycle and they are definitely not in the same league.

                                  Notification led?

It is painfully difficult to justify buying this phone at the price point; and this coming from a Sony fanboy. There are simply more reliable picks out there for less money. With the direction that software is heading and the modern economy trends, if anyone were to invest so much into a phone, the manufacturer would have to promise long term reliability, and Sony just does not do that.

Just with the short term promise of their software updates, and not making new pro apps available for earlier models, it shows that Sony does not care about their community. And at this price point, none of the performance upgrades matter if you do not have the hardware capacity to keep the phone cool so you could actually use them.

I personally like this phone...a lot. I just don't like Sony pricing these days. I'll wait for these to get discounted below $800, and I'll pull the trigger on one. I use the primary camera 10x as much as the telephoto. With a good crop zoom, I'm good. What I need is a ultra wide with AF for macro stuff. Like I said, I'll wait a year for it to drop below $800 unlocked.
