So, it has everything to do with whether it is powerful or not. Applying the same algorithm on 50mp as they did on 12.5mp may not be possible now.

Standby can be fixed with software update but those on screen won't get significant fix.

            newflesh, 26 Oct 2023One day Pixels will have a good battery life... One day TBH, the idle battery life seems to be a big upgrade compared to Pixel 7 Pro.
            At least in my case the drain during night and during day, when it is just sitting next to me, seems like a big difference.
            When I use it, it is just barely better, but it might be attributed to my Pixel 7 Pro having a 1-year-old battery and some small degree of lower capacity.

                            I can see the HDR effect on my mac screen on the pixel images uploaded by you in this review but not for iphone 15 or s23 ultra.

                              The quality of 50mp is very impressive, and I can see Ultra HDR effect of sample images in Camera review section on my Macbook screen

                                1080p is enough for All smartphones ... anything over is useless and gimmick and NOT battery friendly at all !

                                        The 50mp main camera samples are really impressive. I think tensor g3 not having enough power to process it too much have helped a lot here. Google might have ruined it otherwise.
