                I can see the HDR effect on my mac screen on the pixel images uploaded by you in this review but not for iphone 15 or s23 ultra.

                  The quality of 50mp is very impressive, and I can see Ultra HDR effect of sample images in Camera review section on my Macbook screen

                            The 50mp main camera samples are really impressive. I think tensor g3 not having enough power to process it too much have helped a lot here. Google might have ruined it otherwise.

                              Again, a battery performance of only 90 hours isn't a lot to brag about but hopefully it might get better with SW updates. Also, it's only a test, not a real life experience as I noticed that several tests done by GSMArena are often not even close to the actual user experience. Sometimes it's too optimistic or the contrary, too negative.

                                Nick Tegrataker, 27 Oct 2023Quad Bayer sensors with 2x2 OCL design suffer from much low... moreI don't know what the Imx 766 is, but the Gn5 is just a Quad Bayer (Dual Pixel Pro) sensor like the Gn2, not a Quad Pixel autofocus sensor and not every manufacturer has the right algorithms. Samsung's S23 Ultra has a Quad Pixel autofocus sensor and the 200 megapixel mode does deliver more detail than the 50 megapixel mode. I have also seen 2x digital zoom images from an Asus Zenfone 10 and 1x images from a 200 megapixel Motorola phone, which both use a Quad Pixel autofocus sensor and surprisingly, the high resolution mode (or 2x zoom in the case of the Asus phone) didn't seem to be worse than Quad Bayer high resolution modes.
                                It's strange because there is even an interchangeable lens camera (Om System Om-1) that has a Quad Pixel autofocus sensor, but doesn't offer a high resolution mode.

                                  Google knows that they should improve the phones with mew generations not make them worse?

                                    After the Xiaomi 14 series came out, this phone felt like it was 2021 phone.

                                        anyone testing the new pixel's data hogging numbers? I don't want to spend too much dollar for data packet monthly just because it send all of our file and information to its server. Is it true that image editing and video processing in this phone is done in their cloud instead of in the phone?
