I've had this phone (256gb version) for over 3 months now and there's nothing ridiculously laggy about it as this review highlights. It even moves faster than my previous Mi Note 10 Pro. I wonder if you guys got a faulty device.

You say the width is because of big bezels, but there is a bigger problem between those bezels: the display. Also, this is a squarer 19.5:9 compared to the 20:9 of many other phones. I‘m not against that aspect ratio but handling would be a whole lot improved if not every phone had to be at least 6.4 inch in screen size. Apart from a handful non-Plus and non-Ultra flagships, there aren’t really any phones smaller than 6.4 inch, and the ones that are smaller are only barely smaller at 6.1 inch. If 5.8 inch became the standard again, and 6.5 inch became the Plus-size, there would be something for everyone. But as it is right now, most phone manufacturers go for 6.4 and bigger in all of their phones expect for sometimes the baseline flagship.

What I hate about Samsung is the camera. They are distorted. What i particularly hate about the A54 is the audio recording special for voice recordings. It either is muffled or sounds like your the tinman.

I have this phone for almost two months now and it's been great in every aspect (though i don't play games in it). I don't get this review and it's far from my experience. I used to rely on GSMArena reviews and I love and know this site for it's reasonable and non-fanatic reviews, but it seems like I have to reconsider my opinion.

Yeah, have noticed the stuttering and lag while helping to set up A54's at work. Horrible to see a recent Android run as bad. Same happens with my work phone, Galaxy A72. Never was smooth.

It's strange they notice stuttering an laggyness performance during scrolling and stuff. I don't have that issue with my A54 that is much much better than the A53 I owned previously. True, this exynos chip will not score high but at least it's much better than the version that was used in the A53. That one was just shy of a complete disaster. I also have the A34 and that one is indeed superior to the A54 which should not be the case given the much higher price of the A54. The A34 uses a much better Mediatek unit.

The A52s was so good that even Samsung took it out from their stores inventory when they released the A53 so people would buy the newer phone instead.

I have this phone sin... moreIt's an optical fingerprint sensor, not an ultrasonic one like on flagship phones.
It's also slower than side-mounted fingerprint sensors.
Therefore, it is mediocre.
