justasmile, 18 Jan 2024Well, nothing was made to make sure the phone lasts 7 years. Sadit is not for using the same phone for 7 years. there are still people buying new iphone 12 or 13 because they will last another 3-4 years with a battery replacement. long sw support lets you purchase older flagships with more confidence.

Anonymous, 18 Jan 2024It stays the same 7 years is starting from S24 series. Samsung got me for the second time...first time was when I had the s9+ and they said that they will give 3 years of updates starting from s10! So close again..😏

With the S24+ being closer to the ultra than ever, is it better thn the S23 ultra? The S24 ultra is way too expensive so it's a decision between S24+ and the S23 ultra??

Regarding AI stuff,no reason S23 devices cannot do all this. But they will purposefully hold back.

Anonymous, 18 Jan 2024What's the point of 7 years of updates if the hardware... moreBy your "logic" one should buy a new phone every year. As you know S23 Ultra does not have AI (ex. translating your call). So it is obsolete. Whatever.
Unless you care to explain further yourself.

Modifying how a picture looks in the gallery app is not a good thing at all, because it will give us a false sense of how the picture will look like when we share it to others.
