Kangal, 02 Feb 2024It's such a weird device. On the one hand, it's ... moreIts exactly what one should expect from it.

Even if we talk about S24+ with Snapdragon8gen3, there will be compromises to force people/enthusiasts to go Ultra, same story with Apple and their Pro models.

Mills, 03 Feb 2024iPhone 15 Pro but again, terrible OSSure, that's one. Can't say the operating system's terrible, but it's sure not my taste nor yours.

Last time i checked Samsung Galaxy S23, were the most sold Premium (Android) phones in the world for 2023. Only Apple managed to overtake them.
If we include Foldable sales, the gap with other OEM's gets even bigger.
In Europe and US, Samsung is really dominant.

So not really sure what you mean by that, unless you are talking about China market.

          Cheapest looking Flagship phone ever
          , wouldn't even pay300 dollars for this.

I am sick of Samsung shipping some markets with Exynos. It may not say anything on the subject and may call them equal in performance but it's not. An Exynos chip can be noticed after just 30 mins on the phone. The thermal throttling is intense. Can you imagine your phone becoming slow af just coz it can't handle the heat? I will never buy an Exynos phone again. Instead, I'm going to happily consider the S23 ultra or the S23+

No innovation.....looks like and performs like s23 plus....which was like s22 but tsmc chip. Next

None of them beats 8 Gen 3 in hardware prowess but the Note and S22U, S21U have 1440p displays and relatively good displays. AMOLED 2X, HDR10+, 120hz and so on. Cameras is it's own game (not a camera nerd). These four phones are on my top list for the older flagship vs newer flagship/midrange.

I tried a few phones at the same time last year for nearly a week before deciding which to keep and which to send back. The Vivo x90 with dimensity 9200 had a much weaker signal than the Oneplus 11 with snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Iqoo neo 8 with snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 both of which had very good signal. It was also weaker than the Redmi K60 pro which was the weakest of the snapdragon phones I tried. The Vivo x100 pro has added Vivo's own signal enhancement technology which they also have in many Iqoo phones but it's not available in the regular Vivo x100. Haven't tried the x100 but the predecessor x90 was a bit weak in terms of signal. I assume this was mostly due to the dimensity 9200 processor. The x100 pro is supposed to have very good signal due to Vivo's own enhancement tech but would be conconcerned about the regular x100 that doesn't have the same tech

The virtual proximity sensor is the reason my wife switched to an iphone.

Can't believe they're pulling this crap at this price point...

It's such a shame for worse battery life than the last year model. Not to mention Exynos... Why would people pay the same price for inferior hardware?
