NOK6600, 20 Feb 2024you said .. Longer battery life ? in what sense ?? did you ... moreI like Sony but 5v screen is much smaller and with a 5000mah battery, it should have better battery life. Should compare with 1v and s24u has much better battery life.

NOK6600, 20 Feb 2024you said .. Longer battery life ? in what sense ?? did you ... moreYes, I read the result - and battery life is better than the S23U in browsing time, video playback, gaming - and overall endurance.
And almost ALL other tests/reviews have the S24U and 15 Pro Max neck and neck in battery life - or actually the S24U slightly ahead. Just go on YouTube and see for yourself...

I've given it a shot zooming in on cars parked on ground level from my office window and 9.9 zoom has noticeable noise and artifacts, whereas 10 is clear as day. Sorry but my experience contradicts your claim.

Shamrock Sean, 18 Feb 2024Don't pretend you're not stupid I am not, I have no idea why you do closer inspection of photo, and if you do and have a reason for it, you should write down your opinion on all phones' comments pages.
I though you wanted to see something closer, that why I advice you using binoculars.

What happened to the low frequency playback? Is the graph accurate? It just drops off to invisible a smidge below 100Hz.

What a pity .....
Dear GSM-Arena-Team,
first a big THANK YOU for continuously publishing smartphone reviews with a dedicated camera-chapter, providing comparable photo-samples of t h e s a m e s c e n e s in each single review. Within certain limitations (light, perspective, distance to object...), this enables comparisons of imaging-performance across different devices by choice of your readers, e.g. for device's zoom-lenses.
Provided your reviewers keep their longstanding habit of shooting the same scenes again and again (which may become boring over time, understandably) that is...
Example: for zoom lenses, for a long time shots of the "golden castle's" fine-detailed mural with clock and of the view from the park towards the street corner at "vitosha hall hotel" with fine detailed bushes, cars, car-plates, traffic signs and small circular cutouts in the white wall appeared in every review. These details provided a great opportunity for comparisons across devices.
Unfortunately, in last months reviews, they were missing more and more (mural with clock) or their perspective changed (vitosha hall's upper fassade with little fine details instead of the street corner at ground level with many fine details).
In the current Galaxy S24 Ultra review, these scenes vanished completely as far as zoom-shots are concerned. What a pity .....
Instead, reviewers seem to concentrate more on new motives with larger structures with little fine details (facades, closeups ...), which tend to make zoom-shots look more impressive than fine-detailed somewhat distant objects (mural, street corner), which may unveil the camera's limitations more easily - but provide better material for comparisons.
Please, keep taking zoom-shots of the mural and the street corner at ground-level for comparison!
Thank you
and
Best Regards

Biggest issue is still the lack of a 10 bit screen. It is noticeable on my S23U and the main reason why I will not upgrade to another Ultra atm
