I unlock my phone using my right index finger. I do it that way, cause I'm usually picking up the phone in a way that my right index finger is there. I also have my right thumb registered, although I rarely unlock it with my thumb.

It's just expensive and unavailable where I live but the phone itself seems like a very good phone with the style and features Androids used to have until they turned into Apple knock-offs. If it had a user replaceable battery and dedicated audio dacs it would have just about all that my LG V20 has. That was the best "smart" phone I've ever had. Good shape, not too large but not small, wide, still a larger nicer screen for watching almost all the films and shows I love, most of which aren't in widescreen or cinémascope, not that I really enjoy watching films on a phone. The notification screen at the top is more useful than an led notification light and even that's been removed since the V. That light is more useful than an extended zoom and the other slight camera improvements since the IV. The camera on the V20 isn't bad either, for a phone camera. It still works but it's sluggish and one channel of the headphone jack shorted out so I can't take advantage of its audio capabilities. The VI looks almost as good as that. Almost. I paid around $250.00 new.

What's with the glass back comment? Glass backs are a pointless addition to phones and the grippy back is much more functional and wont shatter if the device is dropped.
If you put a case on to protect it, then having a glass back is even more pointless. I never understood the appeal for it.

Remove the antiquated SD card and headphone jack and maybe I'll consider it.

It seems likely that it won't be available here but if it is, we'll be complaining and the exorbitant price, justifiably. Still, it would be nice to know that it's available.

Nice phone. It has checked all things what I like in a phone including sd card, headphone jack, stock andriod and even the camera is great with the macro shots.

Peace of crap for 1400? Premium price and worst camera i TOP camera phones? Is not 1st as a business phones, camera, any...thing?
Good camera and small size? Pixel 8! Even i Japan Pixel sells better then Xperia
Nobody care anymore about Sony phones, they are competition for Poco and Realme or fanboys of blind Sony fans. Sony is not i top 5 Even i Japan xD

It brings some nice unique capabilities in a timeless smart design.

I've had zero problems using a similar power-button fingerprint-reader with my left hand. It just reads my middle finger.
