      If It was really the reason as you want us to believe along with US government -> selling equipment to Iran, then Huawei would have stopped It as did ZTE, because the money they earn in Iran is nothing compared to the rest of the world.

                              That being said, I agree with you that generative AI has become a bit of a nuisance and that tests of recent flagship cameraphones have revealed quite an extensive use of it, especially in pictures taken with the teke lens or images from hybrid/digital zoom.

                                Just go over to DxO and watch the P70 ultra being declared as new king of cameras.
                                This review here clearly points to positive as well as to negative findings, and that's why this site is relevant.

                                  At least according to the official Apple Webstore, this statement does not seem to be correct.

                                  That being said, there's no doubt the 15 pro Max is overall the better phone and has unmatched video quality.
                                  Still, these prices are all getting out of hand. In 2020 I got a new P30 pro for around 600 Euro. And this phone was a flagship back then and one of the best cameraphones of its time.
                                  Now you pay 2x-3x as much in order to get a current flagship phone, which is ridiculous.
                                  I still take great photos with the P30pro and all my friends (who have the latest and greatest iPhones and Galaxy phones) ask me to send them pictures I took from the last party or event, and always get praise from everybody how my phone takes the best photos.
                                  Technically, the newest crop of phones have much better camera and processing hardware than a 5 year old Huawei phone, but for some reasons the guys at Huawei knew how to make the best pictures. The portrait mode is in my opinion unrivaled to this day.
                                  I think that Huawei was the absolute leader up until the P40 pro and after the ban they didn't manage to keep up their advantage in camera competence. They are still good, even great, but still, the competition seems to have closed the gap.
