That being said, I agree with you that generative AI has become a bit of a nuisance and that tests of recent flagship cameraphones have revealed quite an extensive use of it, especially in pictures taken with the teke lens or images from hybrid/digital zoom.

Just go over to DxO and watch the P70 ultra being declared as new king of cameras.
This review here clearly points to positive as well as to negative findings, and that's why this site is relevant.

At least according to the official Apple Webstore, this statement does not seem to be correct.
That being said, there's no doubt the 15 pro Max is overall the better phone and has unmatched video quality.
Still, these prices are all getting out of hand. In 2020 I got a new P30 pro for around 600 Euro. And this phone was a flagship back then and one of the best cameraphones of its time.
Now you pay 2x-3x as much in order to get a current flagship phone, which is ridiculous.
I still take great photos with the P30pro and all my friends (who have the latest and greatest iPhones and Galaxy phones) ask me to send them pictures I took from the last party or event, and always get praise from everybody how my phone takes the best photos.
Technically, the newest crop of phones have much better camera and processing hardware than a 5 year old Huawei phone, but for some reasons the guys at Huawei knew how to make the best pictures. The portrait mode is in my opinion unrivaled to this day.
I think that Huawei was the absolute leader up until the P40 pro and after the ban they didn't manage to keep up their advantage in camera competence. They are still good, even great, but still, the competition seems to have closed the gap.

Sorry but I cant see what's outstanding on the crow photos. The grass processing is a mess of green pixels. It looks terrible. Maybe a year later it might get good, but right now is awful

According to the official Apple Website, the iPhone 15 pro Max @512 GB costs 1700 Euro.
The 70 Ultra, on the other hand, is 1400 Euro, and comes with free Freebuds 3 pro (200 Euro) and a fast charger (retail price probably around 20-30 Euro).
If my math is correct, the Pro Max 512 is >30% more expensive.

Personally I don't like the low-light capabilities emanating from the 1" main camera... Not impressive at all... Both Vivo & Oppo have far surpassed Huawei in low light photography.

Huawei got banned for two reasons:
1) Possibility of the CCP using their network devices to create attack vectors against other countries
2) Selling equipment to Iran
And I will say #2 is the one with the most weight. You can cry all day long about US and their bans, but ZTE got their ban lifted after complying to not sell stuff to Iran, and Xiaomi & BBK never got one. OnePlus even got into the US without any problems and is available at several carriers.
And honestly, I don't know why you guys are crying so much about Huawei. Are you paid employees? Huawei was never known for their midranges devices, or for good prices either. That one was Xiaomi. Their flagships only got the ball rolling until their P20 came out, and that was more due to Apple/Samsung resting on their laurels. Before P20, they were pretty mid.
Not to mention their Android skin was the worst one. I'll say we are better off without them, since they were just aiming at becoming the "Apple" of the Android world, and we already have a brand behaving like that.

Thanks for letting me know that you don't even understand the basic principle that you need to prove your claim to turn it into a believable one. I've already given you an article where the US president proudly admits that he pressured his allies when they were hesitant about the ban. Come back with one solid proof that Huawei has ever eavesdropped or "spied" on any communications. I'll wait.

With no native android support unfortunately Huawei devices are not even worth talking about.. very sad considering the hardware, they really need to sort this out.

Even if you'd think the gas cooker-like camera island on iPhones is "the most beautiful design", objectively this design is neither "latest" nor launched "lately" - I don't see significant design changes in the latest iPhone compared to the 4 ones before it, besides an even larger camera island.
