And even tho it's easier to change, non-tech savvy people will still need to go to repair shop so they can get their battery changed.

I remember when Oneplus 2 came without NFC 10 years ago and people were mad about it. How can you make the same error again with nfc is so widespread? Definitely a bummer.

I never use NFC mainly because I can... moreYou need to realize the fact that some people actually leave their dens way more than you and use their phones for payment, passes, public transport and also other NFC functions related to other devices. If I didn't use my NFC, I'd have to carry 5 different cards on me and a wallet for those. That's one extra pocket being used and one more thing to worry about.

I am bootloader unlocked on all the phones I use and therefore can't pass the Play Integrity check. Therefore, paying with my phone has never been an option.

I really don't understand why people and tech youtubers are hyping this phone. Removable back? Just go get one case for 3-4$ and there you go. For the price this phone does not offer anything, you will be better with some poco phone at least you will get charger, NFC, 3.5 jack, stereo speakers for the same price, not all these useless *features" CMF offers.

It doesn't look like it'd even be hard and the hardest part of replacing batteries on phones these days is getting the back off anyways.

It may be a missed opportunity but it definitely is not pointless. This is especially useful if you damage the back and sides or just bored with the color.
