Hello Moto, 09 Jul 2024Why even have a removable back without a removable battery?... moreyou open the back to change the cover. that's the purpose... Not to change batteries. It may be a missed opportunity but it definitely is not pointless. This is especially useful if you damage the back and sides or just bored with the color.

Why even have a removable back without a removable battery? Is this a literal joke? Do you open the back just to see the failed opportunity by CMF?

Most people in here don't get what Nothing/Cmf is trying to do. They're non-conformists trying a different route that most are taking. You people compare them to Chinese brands who churn out models by the dozens yearly without much thought and excitement about them. They all look the same, under different brands, and even have sub-brands similar to their parent companies but not CMF. They may be a sub-brand but apart from the OS they are going a different look from the parent company. They are London-based and fairly new company that just released their FIRST phone. I say not bad for a budget/mid-range phone

I don't know who would spend money on this junk. So many cheaper alternatives are available with better specifications.

Still livin... moreSo repairability is something from stone age?
Reusable products are deemed obselete ?
Dancing to their tunes, you are forgetting big picture, get a 2 year lasting e-waste and forced to spend money again.
You must be living in a blooming economy .

Anonymous, 09 Jul 2024Most Motos do not have stereo speakers. The Redmis that do,... moreEven a cheapo Motorola G24 has stereo speakers.
That thing is 120 euro without discounts.
As for NFC, my secondary phone for work, Motorola G04 has NFC and they go for under 85 euro.
Just saying, CMF spend most of the money on the backplate gimmick, which is also the reason they dropped NFC.

BenjaEBC11, 08 Jul 2024I cant believe all the anger and criticism for 200 dollars.... moreThe phone has higher prices in certain regions.
200 dollars for this sounds fine in the US, but in Europe where this thing is starting at 239 euro, there are many other and better options.
And if I have to believe some people from other regions I know where the price of this thing is too high, the issues is exactly the same there.
Like someone even said, if Samsung sells a cheaper and better phone than you, and Samsung is often the most expensive option in the budget market.
Then you messed up, because there are many cheaper brands than Samsung doing better, and you as a company (CMF) brought out a phone that is worse and more expensive than Samsung.
It is because we have so many better options for that around 239 euro that people complain, if this phone was below 200 euro many people would not complain that much (maybe about lack of NFC which even a 80 euro Motorola has nowdays, but that aside)
So yeah 200 dollars is a fine price for a market like the US, 239 euro is however poor value.
And it's hilarious how many youtubers try overly hard to not critisize the phone, some even totally omitting the cons.

A simple Xiaomi from last 1-2 years would cost even less and provide much more value

So you can remove the cover, but not replace easily the battery, no audio jack for no reason
For 50€ more they could have included a mediatek 8300, so 250€ phone, but it would double the performance, better than their current high end, priced at 500€
