Whatever you are hallucinating here. iPhone 12-15 including the Pro models have Ceramic Shield 1. iPhone 16 and 16 Pro has Ceramic Shield 2.

I would prefer aluminium backs like on iPhones long ago. These colours look plastic and childish. I also don’t like the way the colour is dyed into the glass around the camera bump.

The Xiaomi 14 is around is around 190g and has a bigger form factor. Xiaomi 15 won't be smaller. At least next year there will be a few 6.3" options. Vivo will launch a 6.3" x200 pro mini. That will have better camera hardware than the Xiaomi 15. Rumored also that the Oppo x8 series might have a mini version but that hasn't been confirmed. All will still be bigger than the iPhone 16 though and heavier.

Very impressive battery life and (sustained)performance and decent screen brightness.
The rest is the same story every year with Iphones.
Last but not least, as much as i hate 60hz screens on this price range, i would definitely pick Iphone 16 over S24 Exynos....

For the price of this iphone show me a similar device which has good battery life, does not throttle by 50% and has takes both good quality photos and video (something those Chinese phone makers forget people take 😀). All while being compact or at least reasonably sized.

If this phone was 749 or even 799, 90-120hz and 256GB storage it would be a home run. But of course apple is afraid to eat into pro/pro max sales so their non pro phones have to be released as cripples.

From the comments here you'd think that it was a complete budget display. It's actually an excellent display in terms of the actual display quality. The brightness. color accuracy and resolution are top notch and according to Gsmarena it 'offers the best HDR implantation (assume this is a typo and is meant to be implementation) we've seen so far.' Just lacking in 120hz but it's fairly top level in many other areas.
