1300€ for 512 GB version is INSANE!
60 Hz screen, still no 8K photos or videos and 8 GB of RAM is not great either for this time (and no it doesn't work better or the same as an Android with 16 GB or 24 GB, stop being naive)... It's fine, but you can't charge flagship prices for what is a midranger in 2024. The chip is good, everything else is midrange at best.
I don't care what Apple fanatics think, this is not worth 1000€+! This phone only got 4.0 rating because it's an Apple. If it was a Samsung they would give it 3.5 at most.

Really good batterylife, camera and overall top performance. Also video out (USB/DP).
Not to mention the long software support

Sounds like an entry/budget phone from 3 years ago, not a recently released flagship phone. Just because it's an iPhone doesn't mean it should be reviewed any differently.

4.0? kinda feels like gsma has conformed to all the apple hate that live on this website, seems like a solid phone even if a little exy.. i mean most companies are charging apple prices now and to be fair there hasnt had much of innovation from anyone.. one could now argue apple are the ones mixing things up.. even if its not game changing

15hrs endurance...Werid..from what i hav seen on yt videos battery comparison rhe s24 ultra and other nadroids battery lasr longer than ip 16 by large margin..

Still point is there are not many alternatives with a similar size, weight and similar in the areas I mentioned in the Android camp. Maybe the s24 but just not much choice for compact light flagship level phones given the vast number of phones available

More phone than 90% of the people need. Apple IOS and face id are still much easier to use than what android offers. The biggest negative of this phone is the existence of the Pro models.

Does all the basics well. Excellent main camera, excellent screen (personally I don't care about 60hz at all so I'm talking about the screen quality when looking at it), excellent performance, top notch battery life and excellent speakers. Also it's one of the very few light and compact devices with a 6.1" display. I wouldn't go for one though solely because I don't like IOS. Wish there were more Android alternatives with this form factor and similar quality in terms of the things I've mentioned though

Design : uglier than other , except pixel 9 series.
Durability: 16 pro max breaks easier than 15 pro max. Both have glass weaker than victus 2
American variant is only eSIM. This tech is worse than physical sim.
I went to my carrier weeks ago to switch to eSim. They told me not to do because signal gets weaker.
