Samsung Galaxy S24 FE review

I hate this phone just because the bezels are BAD. Not only not uniform which sucks, but big too. It looks like a cheap budget phone. Also having stability that bad with a chip that already lowered clocks is just embarassing. Sorry Samsung but this one is not it. I was one of the people defending the Exynos 2400e as it should have brought great sustained performance, but clearly that is not the case, so it is just a worse Exynos 2400..

pretty wild that the sustained is worse than the base s24.......

There are a few phones from Samsung that i recommend people to buy depending on the budget....
      A35 or A55, s23/s23+, or ofc S23 ultra.
      And that's it.

"4K videos get recorded with around a 41 Mbps "

        Beyond ridiculous.

I see that the Edge 50 Neo also appears when you compare this Samsung with the others. I am an optimist, so I hope this is a sign that you are working on a review of the Edge 50 Neo :-)

            freaking no microSD

Saw S23 Ultras going for around £610 on Amazon. Much better alternative.

Anonymous, 11 Oct 2024There's quite a bit of price difference between 24 FE ... moreDepends where you live, S24 FE js 745 euro here.

S24 Ultra is just 217 euro more and S24 Plus 95 euro more.

Base S24 is 590 euro, so 155 euro cheaper.

Anonymous, 11 Oct 2024Last time people said S23 FE has poor battery life vs base ... moreProbably the screen being inefficient.

Also that is the reason it has virtual proximity sensing, samsung doesn't use it because lack of space, but because it saves them hardware, not even the few cents it does cost them.

Last time people said S23 FE has poor battery life vs base S23 because of Exynos and SD 8Gen1 being made by Samsung, while S23 series had SD8Gen2.

I said "no, something else is the culprit"

                    Nobody listened

Now S24 FE had a Exynos and has again worse battery life than base S24, which has a Exynos in most places.

Too generous. Should be 4.0 tops.

"we doubt the S24 FE will be considered an upgrade option."

Just the improved battery life alone is worth enough the upgrade

The bar charts say that the screen is LTPO despite the very next line saying the opposite.

This phone is not better than samsung s24 with some point

There's quite a bit of price difference between 24 FE and 24+ (~ € 270). Battery life could be better when browsing, though.

I've been playing about with the S24FE and I'm quite impressed.

I have an S23 and the camera performs pretty much just the same in the normal mode. I found night mode a little lackluster but not terrible.

General performance is pretty decent. It's quick, doesn't overheat when it's pushed and does everything I need it to. The body is clunkier than the S24/S24+ with those big bezels, and it doesn't feel as nice in the hand, but I'd have a case on it anyway and it's a minor gripe

I'd happily have the S24FE as long as it's a decent price. Right now £650 is too much considering I can get the S24+ for £750, but when the price of the S24FE inevitably drops to £550 or so, I'd have one

excuse me or not but guys who reign at samsung is downright stupid,s24 + is the most unwanted phone in their universe, people wanna get either s24 or the ultra, this excuse of a phone costs almost as 24+ but is barely an overpriced a55

That battery life is quite poor for a 6'7 inch phone. Shouldnt that be mentioned as a con?

I am wondering who is the target demographic for this. I mean, you can get the s23 and s23+ flagships for the same price or even lesser. You could add some money and get the s24 instead.
