I consider this a downgrade other than the chipset. Worse cameras and battery life which were the main USP of Z60 ultra.

Silicon carbon battery is introduced by Chinese companies. So of course they are gimmick. Charging speed, display brightness and now battery mah.

Those silicon carbon phones aren't very impressive at all for the moment. 6000mAh with a lower battery life than 5000mAh phones???

Doesn't matter if this phone has no proper competitors for the price it offers, they can't cover up the fact that it has a massively downgraded ultrawide cam and inferior battery life compared to the Z60 Ultra.

Jon8652, 26 Nov 2024Kinda silly how this gets a 4.0 rating while some mid range... moreRating is always relative to the previous model. Not phones at different price ranges. It simply means that it's not better than the previous Z60 Ultra.

                                  Some major disappointments here:

                                  1. Going from 18mm 1/1.5" ultrawide to a 13mm 1/2.88" ultrawide. That's a huge downgrade; I'm very certain the lens is worse (it's not a proper rectilinear and software corrections will make the corners even softer), and that's a 2-stop loss in sensor-size!
                                  2. Bigger battery but worse battery life?
                                  3. No e-sim in 2024, near-2025, why?
                                  4. Small price hike; guess not unexpected, but still a bit sad.

I like those manly boxy design rather than girly rounded ones.

Such a low score for a flagship. Are the cameras that bad?

The selfies are surprisingly good. Looks like UD selfie cameras are progressing quite well and ZTE are on their way to perfecting it.
