"There is one feature that has been retired since the A15, and that is the 3.5mm audio jack. Maybe this was the cost of ingress protection" then how can the sony xperia and asus phones have an IP rating with a headphone jack?

    I hate virtual proximity sensors, they are terrible.

    But

    Is it fair to only mention it as a con on samsung phones, while there are other brands also using it?

    Just make it a con for all brands using it then.
